Very cute restaurant located in a small shopping strip mall. I have never tried Guatemalan food, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant itself is welcoming and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

A Hidden Gem for Guatemalan Cuisine

I discovered this amazing restaurant a few weeks ago, and since then, I’ve been back four times! Having never tried Guatemalan food before and it's fantastic. Each dish I've tried has been excellent with great flavors.
The service here is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you step through the door. The restaurant is also very clean. I’ve brought several friends along to experience this culinary delight, and they all absolutely love it too.

If you're looking for a new dining experience filled with delicious food and welcoming service, I strongly recommend this restaurant. It's quickly become one of my favorites!

The service was very friendly and courteous. For starters we had homemade nachos with delicious guacamole and salsa. For the main course I ordered garne asada with vegetables the meat was cooked as ordered and had a delicious grilled flavor. The vegetables were fresh and also very tasty. Highly recommended for a dinner on the keys

During our stay in Marathon we enjoyed a super delicious dinner at La Chapina. We had 4 different dishes and each was of the highest quality and freshly prepared. I would like to highlight the great guacamole and especially the various steaks. We can recommend the Carne Asada to everyone. The fresh vegetables were a treat to the many fried side dishes that you usually find everywhere. A real culinary insider tip with fair prices. Ideally located if you are staying in the area or on the way to Key West.
