We stopped at La Chapina for dinner and loved the place. Food was great, served hot and in timely manner. Restaurant is immaculately clean, our server was friendly and patiently answered our food related questions. We definitely will visit La Chapina again while vacationing in Marathon.

It was our first time experiencing Guatemalan food and we really enjoyed the flavor profile of the dishes we ordered. The restaurant was very clean, open, and bright. The restaurant staff was extremely attentive and very friendly. We could hear our food being prepared fresh in the kitchen, but it also came out nice and fast. I would highly recommend stopping in or ordering take out and giving this place a try.

We were reluctant because it was empty but thought, what the heck. As we walked in 3 other couples walked in and 2 take out orders came for pick up. They are so courteous welcoming. They are a new business and we recommend!! The food was authentic and fantastic, really! We're going back before we head home!
