Super happy to give them a try. I looked up good Mexican food in the marathon area. The family wasn’t in the mood for sit down dining so we decided to give these guys a try. Very pleased that we did. We ordered all the flavors of street tacos ( no carnitas though ) a couple burritos, street corn and churros. Everything tasted great,all of the crew was happy and full. I’d recommend these guys to anyone. It’s a small unassuming food truck on the side of 61st but they did a great job.

After our second long day at Sombrero Beach, we needed food and wanted tacos and a beer, but wanted it off the beaten path and unique; we found what we dreamed of at La Isla. This tiny family run oasis tucked into nowhere is a gem. Service was personal and warm. Food was full of flavor and hand made. The house salsa was fantastic. We ordered a ton of food for two people and the prices were perfect. A vegan taco for $3.50? - unheard of while traveling in such a beautiful remote place. Again, this is a hidden gem I hope we can return to some day.

When visiting the keys don't eat here.
