I love that they have a lot of options from breakfast to dinner.
Came here the other night after a long road trip,Ordered food 45 min before closing. Had eaten here before and was very good. Was served croquettas that were raw, steak sandwich where the bread was not even toasted and steak was not cooked through. Food was disgusting. Would never eat here again.

First time visiting the Keys. Absolutely amazing beauty, experiences, and people...yet the coffee and food at this little restaurant will make me miss this trip like nothing else. Shockingly good. Nothing in California comes close.

We went twice on the same day. Food was good. My issue was the service. My husband came back later on that afternoon for just an Americano. Even tho the server saw him and was not busy at all, he had to wait a few mins to be attended after the customer in front told the server that we were also waiting. The Cuban male server was really rude and said “Americano no!” and walked away. Confused, because all it is a black coffee with sugar, we stood there for a few seconds and he came back and said he’ll do it. I don’t know what the big deal was, or the laziness to make coffee is, but not a way to treat customers

We discovered this restaurant 4 years ago and we really like it, I have recommended it to everyone, whenever we leave the keys it is our stop for breakfast and dinner on the way back home. The attention of some waiters is excellent, others pay no attention to you, but we still reflect that in the tip we leave. The kitchen staff is super attentive. One day one of them saw that my daughter had hardly eaten and he came to the table himself to offer us something different for her and was worried because she had not eaten.Today looking at the receipt I see that they include the tip even on takeout orders. I am a waitress in Key West and most restaurants include it for 5 or 6 people or on large take out orders.I have always left good tips at this place because my job is also based on tips, but with this I honestly feel cheated. It's not the fact of the money, it's the action that I didn't like at all.
The food is so great! The Cafe con Leche is on point. We had the lechon, tostones (they are huge and so good) vaca frita(YUM!), the black beans are so good. It's been a long time since I have had really great Cuban food. You will not be disappointed. Service was great. Staff was very friendly.

Hands down best Cuban food I’ve ever had. We ordered the classic Cuban and a place with meat and two sides. We chose marinated pork, rice with beans and yuca. The pork was so tender it melted in your mouth! Cannot wait to go back!
