Great outdoor dining. They will cook your catch for a fair price. Plenty of ways to have fish prepared. Jalapeño crusted style will over power the flavor of your fish. Lazy days way is good or Blackened. If you bring a group plan family style service of your catch
Worth a return visit

When you price yourself as a higher end restaurant there is a level of professionalism and standard that is expected. The food was ok to good as far as taste and plating and they have a good variety. My issue was the tidiness of the dining room (run down, poorly decorated, things being held up by tape…) the daily specials insert in the menu was 2 days old and the staff we interacted with borderline incompetent. Our server didn’t know anything about the menu when we had questions. The hostess would walk guest out to tables without speaking to them or even holding the door for guests. And when we were leaving there were staff sitting on the hostess stand all eating potato skins to the point they could even thanks us for coming in if they wanted too. If I were stopping in for a quick lunch some of these things wouldn’t bother me but when two adults and two kids have dinner for about $300…I just expect more effort from a restaurant.

last night of our vacation, we were expecting a nice meal to wrap up our beautiful time here in Key West. Don't usually complain but this was a must! Not what we thought it would be. The waiter when passed by, told us he would be back...it all went downhill from there. After ordering, drinks came 20 min later, dinner when finally arrived about 30 min later was lukewarm and the seafood was overcooked. Poor couple next to us, after sharing their experience, arrived before us, still hadn't received their meal. Sounds like basic mismanagement skills to me. Take me back to New Jersey!

Beautiful view and very friendly server. The front host area could use a little help (ambiance mainly..very stuffy and cramped and dated). We brought in our fresh catch from a day of fishing and our server mentioned along with your typical grilled, blacked, fried, we could have it the Lazy Day way with panko fried fish, diced tomatoes and green onions and a cream sauce drizzle. So good! The gator was delicious as an appetizer and made the Lazy day way too and the tuna app was awesome.

An excellent meal of Yellowfish at this fun restaurant with a great menu. Will definitely go back to try other dishes while we are here. Service was a little slow but it is Spring Break and it was worth the wait.

Parking: Fabulous water front location. We were there for lunch. Fried oyster platter and fried oyster sandwich were both very good. Seafood chowder was delicious. Views from outside waterside seats were great. Drinks were good. Prices were reasonable. But be alert. Someone warned me that they increase prices on certain items and don't change the menu, nor did the waitress advise us. They added $4 to our bill, which i caught. When I brought this to her attention, she acknowledged the increase but shrugged. I told her that's not nice and that it was illegal. Finally, she said she would take my issue to a manager. She came back with a CORRECT bill, but with no apology. I still gave her a 20% tip because I didn't know for sure if she was in on the scam. As I said, I would never have caught this except someone else's review warning of this. It's a shame, good food, great location. WHY?

What has happened to Lazy Days South. We had a delightful waitress but the food was disappointing! I ordered the Key West salad,,limp spinach, poor quality grapes, poor quality shrimp. Grouper sandwiches were ok but not appealing looking. We used to count on top notch food prep here, but were not happy with our meal today.

The prices on the menu are partially incorrect. The staff seem to know about this but don’t do anything unless patrons catch it. A woman coming out as we were coming in was overcharged $3 on her salad compared to the menu price. For us, the grouper Lorenzo was listed as $2 less than we were charged. I took photos of the menu and the check. The server didn’t bat an eye and removed the $4. At best, this is lazy, at worst it is deceitful manipulation. Regardless, it is illegal. They print a new special sheet every day, they can certainly print new main menus.

Shockingly we managed to find a place in the keys that failed to serve good sea food. Service, while slow was adequate but not acceptable. Conch was bland, shrimp over cooked and bisque cold.

Food was not good. Establishment looks old and not taken care of. Food was bland and seafood chowder was cold. Half my group there sent food back and we eventually left. I would only come here for a drink.

Ice cold beer served in mugs straight from the freezer! Had the seared yellowfin tuna. It was very good. Attentive bartender. Very nice view.

The food was exemplary, fresh, and very well prepared. It showed up relatively quickly and even the squash was fresh and flavorful.

The interior was needing some cleaning and updating.

The parking lot was badly marked and cars were not spaced properly. Badly in need of free or inexpensive valet parking.

The wait staff was too busy flirting with each other to deal with customers. Our waiter was not very friendly. English was obviously a second language to most of the people working there and customer service was at a minimum.

Wife's says the tomato was excellent but the English Muffin with her eggs Benedict had too much butter on it. Typically, I thought, an eggs Benedict doesn't get butter.

Pancakes and french toast were fantastic.

I did not buy this breakfast but I think I got the price range right.
