Two people ordered the hamburgers, my husband ordered the fish and chips. I ordered the Marathon Cobb salad that had tasteless crab shreds, 2 shrimp(medium) and lobster tail (?)! I did not want the blue cheese crumbles or bacon. The salad was lacking overall! I think I got 4 very small pieces of lobster. Crab was tasteless and the amount of shrimp was pathetic. For $26.00 give me a break! I'm so disgusted with restaurants not putting out their best food! It's pathetic! Have some pride in your food preparation!
We are locals and we love this restaurant and bar. Beautiful scenic setting outdoors , nice atmosphere , very good food and drinks and last but not least an excellent service at the bar and the restaurant. Just ask for Cornelia at the bar and for Andrea or Bobby in the restaurant. 10 out of 10 !
For the price the food was terrible. I had pasta Alfredo and it was watery not creamy and no real Parmesan in it. The location is pretty, but at those prices the quality of the food should be way higher.
My wife and I eat here every year for her Birthday. Lily, our waitress, was prompt and very friendly. She checked on us regularly and did a great job. The food was great as usual and we will definitely be back next year!
Hard to enjoy meal when no one waits on you! No water refills, no rolls offered, food bright not as ordered. Wouldn't rush back !
The food takes a long time and the meat was overcooked. The quality of food does not deserve such high price. Over priced and over cooked
Took 20 minutes for the waiter to arrive. Took one hour for the food to arrive. The appetizer did not arrive. Drink refills came as we were paying the check. Oh, and we were the only table eating outside and there were two occupied tables inside.
It was so cold no heaters provided to keep us warm. People around us left after about 15 minutes. We were all dressed in fancy new years Florida clothing. Didn't know we would be put out in the cold wind to sit. When you are paying a set price for a dinner. The wind was blowing through the plastic shades. The entrees were clod. We only had a few bites. The poor servers were going as fast as they could. Management should have planned better. They should of told us we would have to sit outside with no heaters in the wind when we arrived. We had to prepay for our reservation. Sorry I don't think we will be going back.
It was the first time I've been out for New Year's Eve and years, and I was so excited. I left very disappointed. It was a prefixed menu. The appetizer and salad were wonderful! However, I got the prime rib and so did several tables around me and it was burnt on the outside and pretty much raw in the middle. It was not edible. The table next to me asked for the manager and 45 minutes later, he had still not come over. When he finally did, I don't know what happened but at that point, I was just not interested in sitting there any longer. They had one girl trying to run two different areas in the restaurant for this event and she was very overwhelmed, but very sweet. I asked her to pack my dessert up and didn't even wait for the bottle of champagne. I paid and left and let it be a lesson learned.
Total disaster. Ruined our New Years Eve. They started by trying to seat us at the pool, despite thier description of deck seating with wind blocks for severe weather as being the outside option. We refused. It was 61 degrees. Open air was not going to happen for a 150$ dinner. Then they placed us inside. They cautioned us we only would have 2 hours at our table. 90 minutes in we still had not even been served course 1. People around us were yelling and walking out. We finally received course three, but two was skipped entirely. Drinks were half filled or missing element, food was not cooked and ell, prime rib was grilled. People at other tables continued to reject food and leave. I complained. It was unreasonable to provide such awful service and low quality food at extreme holiday prices. They did not charge us we left and our New Years was a disaster. Went to the grocery store for dessert and started the new year at home.

We made our New Year’s Eve reservations at Lighthouse Kitchen several weeks in advance. When reserving on OpenTable, no mention was made of a special New Year’s Eve menu. Imagine our surprise when we were presented with a $125 per person prix fixe menu and told that there was no other menu available for the evening (we had dinner at the establishment the previous New Year’s Eve and were able to order from the regular dinner menu). Considering it was after 6:00 pm and there was no chance of getting a table at another restaurant at such short notice, we decided to stay and make the best of it. We should have left then. I asked our server if there was an option to order from the regular menu. She obviously had been asked the same question by other diners, as her answer was, “No”, followed by “people are pretty upset about it”. Almost everything about the evening was a fiasco; there were few redeeming qualities. We started with cocktails, which were pretty good. It went downhill from there. I had a pozole soup which had no flavor and very tough chicken, my husband’s medium-rare prime rib arrived well done and my seared salmon was extremely salty. Our server never once checked in on us to see how we liked our food and our dirty dishes stayed piled on our table until after the next course was served (by who I assume was a runner from the kitchen). Our water glasses were never refilled either. Honestly, the missteps just kept going on. After our dessert was served, we had difficulty getting and also, paying, our check. To top it all off, a 20% “large party” gratuity was added on to our bill, with a suggestion of an additional 2-7% tip (we were a party of 2). I seriously wonder if our server really didn’t care about “service”, since she knew that she was receiving a minimum of a 20% tip. All in all, it was a very disappointing evening. I doubt that we will return.
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Food and drinks were great. Our server was wonderful and very accommodating. The front staff/check in girls (there were 2) were rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. Not a welcome start, but after that everything went great. They made our fresh caught fish to order and it was great.
Very disappointing experience. Waitress was very kind and was trying her best, but seemed she was the only one waiting tables. We ordered a bottle of white wine and were told there were no chillers, so our wine didn't sit on ice the entire dinner. We waited an astronomical amount of time for a shared meal and 2 kids Mac and cheeses which never came out and once arrived were ice cold. While we were eating, a hostess came to our table and asked if she could take our wrapped silverware to take to another table, meanwhile we were still waiting for our kids Mac and cheeses to arrive to the table. Aside from the poor wait staff, wait times, and hot wine— the bathroom was a complete disaster. No toilet paper in the stalls, floors muddy and dirty, and not even soap to wash your hands. This hotel is in need of some serious management.
Cibo arrivato dopo 1h , hamburger riscaldato e carne bruciata , patatine di gomma , assolutamente non ci siamo !!
Holiday week but kitchen was not prepared. They were out of half the items on the menu and food took a very long time to come out. Server kept apologizing but customers were not very happy. Food was mediocre at best. Would likely not return.
