We went almost everyday! Bagels are delicious! Great to have my kids know what a real bagel is. Don’t be deterred by a long line, they go quick plus it’s fun listening to all the accents. Highly recommend the Nova with the works!

I had these bagels two days in a row at a friends house that we are visiting. We decided to eat in the restaurant this morning with our special needs nonverbal family member. Instead of assessing the situation, the owner walked up to our family member and said you need to get the dog out of here, the dog is a true service dog for our special needs adult. He is nonverbal so he cannot express himself as we do. I have been a restaurant owner most of my adult life and the owner of this restaurant needs to take a step back and assess a situation before he reacts. We would have been longtime customers, and now we will never eat there again. Very sad for everyone.

Marathon Bagel Co. is THE spot for bagels down here! These bagels are so good, I’d swim across the ocean for one if I had to. And the cheddar jalapeño cream cheese? Life-changing. It’s spicy, cheesy, and honestly should come with a warning label: “May cause extreme cravings.” Best breakfast in the Keys, hands down!

They offer a variety of breakfast bagel sandwiches, some are quite inventive. The food was good and fresh, the service was efficient and friendly. The only drawback - and entirely due to their popularity - is that it's difficult to find a table to sit at. The actual establishment is rather small and the ordering line can become quite long. Clearly, they are doing something right. If possible, it might be better to order ahead and pick up to go. Otherwise, expanding to a bigger location might make it easier to find an available table.
