Visiting from VA, decided to look up some good Mexican spots in Marathon, although it was rainy and cold decided to try Takeria La Palapa, and my oh my! This was the best experience! I told the person that took my order if he could recommend anything and he said “everything is good” and I was like… hmmm ok… and then he continued and said that they make their own tortillas and the chicken, chorizo, asada and carnita tacos were really good and let me tell you, he wasn’t...
Absolute must if you are in the area!! Some of the best tacos I have had in a really long time if not ever. Everyone was super nice and the food came out extremely quick. We will definitely be going back
This is a meal not to miss if you’re going through Marathon. La Palapa was excellent. The menu, the freshness and the wonderful staff. Everyone is so friendly! The food is amazing.
