The few people who work there are super nice, however... There is not enough of them. There was only 1 waitress working to help all the customers. Another did not arrive until much later. There was a long wait for the food, and what we received got cold when it arrived.
The management or owners need to get more help for the few waitresses there.

Just walked out of bagel time! Tried to call for two solid hours to place an order and I’ll have to sit and wait. Just pick it up. Other customer agreed he tried to call as well and couldn’t get through. I ordered a cheese omelette with the Spanish salsa, corn, beef, hash, and buttered rye toast. It was almost $23. There was only one person at 11 AM in the whole restaurant. This place sucks beware. Food is extremely overpriced and not very good. Service is really the worst I’ve ever ever had. Save yourself time money and a hungry stomach go somewhere else.

BEWARE. Believe the bad reviews. You can see how disrespectful the owner is when they reply to reviews, this is EXACTLY how they act in the place. The food is fast food quality and cheap. From my research most of the 4-5 star reviews are when the previous owners were owning the place. The food is horrible, the service is worse, and the owner is the meanest person I have ever met. There was mold on my pastry and she screamed at me for being it to her attention. I order eggs and a plain bagel. When I received my order it looked like they took half of one egg and put it on my bagel. Bagel wanted even toasted. The prices are way too high, the service is trash, and the food is gross.

Unfortunately, I have to echo the sentiments that the place has gone downhill. It was always packed with the previous owners, now it's a ghost town. This is almost certainly because of the higher prices, but I also noticed the staff from before are almost all gone. There were only two workers, and both were handling the cooking and waiting.
The food is still good, but everything else feels like it's waiting for the inevitable Sword of Damocles to drop. It used to feel cozy, now it feels barren. Also, RIP to all the moose merch.
The lady at the cashier was so sweet and helpful. I’ll definitely be returning

This is not my 1st visit but probably my last. In the other visits there was alot of people there eating so I chalked up slow Unattentive service to being busy.. But let's tall about today..
Literally the only guests sitting at any table in the entire restaurant, when we walked in there was a woman that came in at the same time. She sat at the counter. And probably 15 min later a man walked in and sat at the counter as well. T.I.P.S To Insure Proper Service She did not get any. And here is why.. We came in sat down. As we came in we told the waitress our drink needs. One of us went to the bathroom while the other sat immediately (there was no other customers in the restaurant at any table) when I got back to the table my coffee was delivered. No menus. She walked away. After a few moments she noticed we didn't have any and she got us 1 menu (to share I guess) by the time the menu arrived I already finished 1 cup of coffee and would have loved a refill.. did not get that for a while (reason i order a water too)Before the 2nd person in my group could even see the menu she came up to take the order. Of course we we're not ready.. (still not coffee refill) he got his chance to see menu and she returned and took our order. She was pleasant but clueless (still no coffee) it took a reasonable amount of time to make the meal and she then delivered it (still no coffee - but finally noticed and went to get the refill.. we ate our meal the only time we had a interaction with her was for her to ask me if the bill was together or separate (something I would have personally asked at the beginning.. but that's not a big deal) shortly after she returned ro give the bill. Now that we are pretty much done eating. I'm not asking for a server to be a helicopter and hover. But coming from I have been a server for many many years. Attentiveness is important especially because of potential issues. The longer you make a person wait for a need the more upset they get. (Hinting back to the coffee) side note: there was never even 1 ice cube placed in my cup of water. We kinda assumed they must not have any cuz a cup of ice was not offered for the can of soda that was ordered as well.

Horrible for takeout waited over 20 minutes for 2 bagels Togo nothing fancy. The lady behind the counter was eating her food never bothered to check on what was taking so long. Then proceeded to tell me they couldn’t give me my money back when I asked to cancel. The cook came out and wanted to tell me I don’t understand that they have to serve in order for dine in customers, and now I’m making their food late because I want to cancel and get my money back. Seriously the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Really loved this place! Bagel Time & Bakery Cafe in Margate is super cozy and clean, and the food is just delicious. You can tell they use great quality ingredients. The staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home. Perfect spot to grab a tasty bagel, a fresh pastry, or a good cup of coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back!
