I wish I could rate it better but sadly enough, it was a rather disappointing first and last experience. 1. Expensive 2. Picanha dish was $23 and not worth even half of that. - overcooked tiny chunks of flavorless meat with tiny portion of rice 3. Despite being the only customers threat lunch time (which should have been a sign), the food took almost 30 minutes to be brought to the table

I was the only one at the store , ask for 4 items (3 pastéis e 1 coxinha) Pay for everything. Got home 1 item was missing, the coxinha was never added to the bag. This is unacceptable. If the store was packed and busy… I would understand …but I was the only one inside. Request for reimbursement over the phone , I am waiting on that !

I was at “Casa do Pastel” Margate location on Sunday with my mother and my daughter, we had a few Brazilian empanadas and we loved it!! The empanadas were HUGE, fresh and made to order. The Manager/owner was very friendly and patient with us.
You should check them out! I highly recommend, we’ll be visiting again, soon.

I looked into the reviews before coming and I am happy I came regardless. It was me and my boyfriends first time trying Brazilian food and everything we tried was amazing. We each got a plate of food and shared a coxinha and a pastel. Definitely recommend!!! Alongside the service was terrific!!
never ordering again, we got ice cold coxinhas, they forgot our pao de queijo , my nutella banana pastel had NO banana, my ham egg and cheese sandwich had NO ham or cheese… literally terrible and on top of that they refused to give us a refund … disappointing service and they won’t help u, just give u a generic “sorry for the inconvenience” message

This was our first visit and we loved everything! We got brazilian empanadas (pastéis), chicken balls (coxinhas), and kibe. They were all great and tasting original Brazilian food!! The juices were great too, and they even have sugar cane juice (caldo de cana) freshly prepared!! The environment is very nice, super clean, including the restroom. Five stars for us and coming back whenever we are around, for sure!
