“It had been years since we’ve visited Spankys. The new owner truly turned this place around. So thankful I saw channel 10 awarding you a clean plate or else I probably never would have returned. Our server was extremely friendly and sweet. She had a welcoming personality. Place really cleaned up, while keeping the atmosphere and taste the same. An owner at another cheesesteak place in east Ft Lauderdale had encouraged us give them another try. It felt great coming back and will be back again soon“

“Where else can you get a lamb sandwich, They have among the best in takeout food for the average Joe?
The only caveat to watch out for is many are franchises, so some iportions are ok and some not ok depending where you go.
They also should bring back the Dulce de Leche milkshake. It was the best thing they had.“

“Delicious cheesesteaks and finally found a new location to stop by and enjoy. It’s a drive for me but it’s worth to finally sit down and enjoy a good time with friends. We had the pizza steak and two originals. The bread sells it the second you pick it up and the portion of meat to cheese is on point. Other locations would have too much bread or not enough cheese. But wicked had the real cheese pull. I can’t wait to introduce and bring more friends to this locations because a good Philly is hard to come by these days. I was recommended by the all mighty Steve from the old school Philly or direct from Philly and he did not steer me wrong. Thank you so much buddy. The eggs roll was delicious and not as greasy like the “world famous” and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. The potato skins I’ll give another chance because they were stuck with overcooked cheese on the bottom tray. Otherwise they were chewy and yummy. I need to find the vendor where you get the coconut cream soda because that was refreshing on these hot summer days. Need to save room or have more time next time for dessert. The brownie we got was really good as well but definitely be interested in a slice of cake. Brian a sweet guy and really gives that local love for food that you appreciate. Thank you. “My first time at a Charlie's was at the mall and it was awful so I never had another until I tried to give the store in pompano a shot. Way way different. In this shopping complex most of the restaurants have terrible rude staff- Krispy Kreme, chipotle, wingstop all rude. Thankfully Charleys is great and I’ll be back for sure!“
