Worst service ever …
I asked for fresh ox tail I mean if I’m spending $30 for a meal with a drink at least make it fresh right ?
Well the woman reply’s no we do not
And continues to scoop 40% bone 30% thick gravy 30% meat
Doesn’t give me a chance to ask for something else
While I’m waiting to pay being there was a line
Her co worker goes to the back with the empty oxtail pot and dumps it in the new fresh pot
I walked out

I didn’t pay even though I was starving craving the food and almost felt bad for waisting the plastic container

I hope someone reads this and if this happens too you don’t feel bad for being treated like trash …. I have no problem with them telling me no I will not get fresh oxtail pick something else don’t lie .

Makes me think they cut corners in the back too

There's this one particular lady every time I come her attitude is so horrible she's so mean and she's so nasty who wants somebody like that fixing your food they only serve medium oxtails now the lady was making my plate and I asked if I could have more oxtail she told me it would be a charge because you only get six pieces of meat for $22 who in their right mind is going to pay $22 for only six little oxtail bones it's always her she's the only one who has such a really nasty attitude every time I come and when I come I buy between three and four plates for me and my family who wants to spend their money with a company who has nasty employees that has an attitude for every little thing you fix food with love not with angerso many times I walk out of this place when she's the one serving food I went in tonight the curry chicken didn't look its best it was on its last leg I asked if they had some in the back she had an attitude to shook her face and no and then I asked her about the oxtails again and she said it's $22 and you only get 6 pieces of meat I said no thank you and I walked out the door people like that don't care about customers leaving because it's not their business I'm a business owner and I would never treat my clientele like that.

I’ve been craving oxtail for a minute and my friend refer me to go there but I regretted to spend my $18 over there, walking in they have the worst customer service the lady behind the counter give me an attitude like I came and disturb her peace like I wasn’t a paying customer, once I made my order the lady stated you kn that’s an extra charge for the Mac do you still wants it, well of course I do I didn’t say I couldn’t afford it, going over just be prepared for horrible customer service!

Honestly, I don’t know where to start. First there seems to have been some sort of disagreement between 2 staff members. The manager was assisting around the back. The person sharing my meals I had to remind her 4 or 5 times what I was getting. Presentation was distasteful. Goat lunch that was ordered was not goat it was mutton and not to mention no meat all bones and blubber. The jerk chicken lunch taste as if the chicken was not made fresh today and not to mention salt. As a regular Donna’s Restaurant customer for years they should know there type of clientele. You don’t lower your standards in ingredients, or service and not to mention increase in lunch special cost to $7.99+tx. Do better Donna’s. Not saying it’s my last time but probably won’t revisit this location. Hope this helps as suggestions not so much criticism. Very disappointed. I had to throw out the food and get fast food down the road.

I was given one spoonful of saltfish, for $12. I have been to this same location in the past and received 2 spoonfuls on my tray.. I don’t know if they are trying to reserve food for others or because I came in and didnt speak to them in patwah so they think they can take people for idiot but it’s disappointing and I will never come here and spend my money on breakfast again, if I went to Donna’s in Coral Springs get my money’s worth. Do Better!!

I come here often actually thought I had friendly relationship with the employees! On the average I spend about 40 to 50 per visit not this time I decided to purchase the fried chicken lunch, may I add was excellent. Now last week was different the entire pound and half chicken completely dried out sweet plantain were more like tostones. When my significant other brought it to their attention, the response she got wasn’t pleasing to a regular customer. So I said maybe her personality could have clashed. So I went which is today I get no better response with that being said. I guess once the profit has been made! Customer satisfaction doesn’t matter.

I will not be ordering from here anymore I ordered oxtails on DoorDash and when I went to pick it up they gave me a small container with just oxtails, then they proceeded to tell me I ordered a pound of oxtails that shows on their end. On their menu it says oxtails served with rice and pease salad plantains. Paid 28.75 pulse the fee made it $30 and they have the nerve to give me 6 pieces of oxtails alone. Be careful ordering with them on DoorDash because apparently their menu on there is not consistent with whatever they have in the store but that is their fault they need to check that out and fix it.

My husband got me some breakfast at this Donna’s in Margate. Green bananas, and pumpkin, mackerel and kidney. I open the box and what a disappointment. Full of grease and the mackerel all over the food/box with bones everywhere. Had only onions, no tomatoes. The presentation was horrible. If I had a dog I wouldn’t give him a bowl of food looking like that. Had to keep the box in the paper bag and the outer plastic bag as well. Last time getting food from there. It had been slowly going down hill for a couple years now.
