I was recommended to get some good chicken fried rice from this place. I was disappointed. The rice was hard and pieces of the chicken bones was in the rice and it got stuck in my teeth. I also had the black pudding and it had no seasoning, it tasted ok if you dip it in the sauce. The chicken was the only thing that had some flavor. The atmosphere was a typical Chinese take out look, was tacky, boxes were stored up front, and the lighting was dark. The host was friendly.

Came to Lucky's for lunch with my husband and had the lunch buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious. Calipso music is to much when you're eating.

I wish I lived closer to Lucky City! The food is always fresh and delicious and totally worth the drive. I've sampled most of their guyanese chinese menu, from char sui pork to chicken fried rice, lo mein, and delicious soup. They also offer Indian style dishes, rotis, pastries, and a variety of caribbean beverages. Parking is easy to find and the service is always friendly. I highly recommend Lucky City.

5 star aloo pie! I just missed the doubles and the aloo pie with chicken was just as good! We often cater our parties from Lucky City. I even attended a wedding catered by Lucky City so that also shows how good their food is. Highly recommend!!

Love the food. Service could be better but it’s a familiar Caribbean service so I can’t complain.
I’m from Trinidad and I think the owners are Guyanese but the familiarity of the food to Trinidad is good enough for me

Food was good but my food order was wrong. Grubhub didn’t work well and the driver had to relay the order and it was still wrong. There online menu on their site and food deliver apps have no descriptions on what’s in the food. So avoid here if you have shellfish allergies because you will have a reaction from it.

Good West Indian style Indian food. The Doubles are just great ( bet you can't eat just one) Highly recommended. They do Take Out or Eat at the restaurant, whatever meets your fancy.

I meant to write this review as soon as I devoured their delicious veggie fried rice and spring rolls! But the flavor was so good I could never forget it! Absolutely some of the best fried rice I've ever experienced and I've eaten a lot of fried rice! The spring rolls were crispy and also packed with flavor and lots of cabbage. Great portions and prices. The service was phenomenal as well. I'll definitely be back soon!!

The aloo and chana was old, cold and tasteless. So was the roti, old not freshly made. I will not be back!

Okay give this place some credit. Caribbean and Oriental food. Well okay this is extremely unusual and it shows in the place you see elements of what you would expect from both types of restaurants.
What ONE THING this place is exceptional at ?? Serving HOT SPICY FOODS (by request) you have that friend that claims nothing spicy bothers them ..take them here, don't worry the hospital is around the corner on 441 😆. Okay I primarily judge a Chinese restaurant by one type of dish: General Tso's Chicken . A purely Americanized Chinese emulated chicken dish that is normally on the spicy side .. yeah a little hotter than normal, they can turn down the heat by request..

I see room for improvement, while if you are investing in stocks you will appreciate all the screens showing trading status.. that's not really why many go to eat. It needs to be kept clean inside and outside also behind the place.
The people are nice. Their typical customers are locals of Caribbean origin, this is similar to other restaurants I have been to in the Bahamas. It is a mom and pop and I'm not going to tear them down. What they are offering is unique, this place should be appreciated.
On the funny side I do have a bit of dyslexia and Inat first thought it said Lucky Cat Restaurant😳.
Yeah I'm sorry that's me not them.

Unique spicy menu items, a dining adventure for sure.
