It had been years since we’ve visited Spankys. The new owner truly turned this place around. So thankful I saw channel 10 awarding you a clean plate or else I probably never would have returned. Our server was extremely friendly and sweet. She had a welcoming personality. Place really cleaned up, while keeping the atmosphere and taste the same. An owner at another cheesesteak place in east Ft Lauderdale had encouraged us give them another try. It felt great coming back and will be back again soon

The philly cheese steak sammich was delicious and I bet the fries were really good but since they were served in a Styrofoam container they got soggy real quick.

Wonderfully delicious food the place has a laid back and a very pleasant hometown warm ambiance

Hot Italian sausage with marinara sauce was very tasty! The tator tots were great! Service from the young lady was very friendly and attentive. Prices are reason able for the portion size too.

This place is not what it used to be. The prices for one have changed and the food quality has declined dramatically. The fries are soggy. I also ordered 3 philicheese steaks and all i got was bread steak and cheese no onions on it at all. According to what i was told when i called back was it has to be added. Its a philicheese it’s supposed to have onions… everything else is an up charge.

Main issue was the chilli tots I upgraded to from fries - half of the tots had freezer-burn and were disgusting. The cheese-steak was plain - didn't realize I had to check off every option I want on it. Lastly, they say free drink for first time using their IOS/Android app - they did not honor the free drink.

My family waited over an hour for our food, and I understand that the waitress was trying her best because it was busy. But to wait over an hour for flavorless, and bland food was not what we were expecting. They forgot to make one of our appetizers, but eventually ended up making it. We really wanted to like this place, but it was awful. I will not be returning
