The barbecue pork is out of this world good. I love sweet but their sweet barbecue sauce just tasted like Maple to me. It made me think I had walked into a pancake house and not a BBQ joint. The spicy barbecue sauce was outrageously good. It had been 7 years since I last Dickey's BBQ and when I saw this one during a gas stop, we had to have lunch there. The pulled pork, ribs, green beans and sauce were as good as I remembered. Ghis store was clean and the counter help was friendly. The only disappointment was the rolls. they had not risen and were like hockey pucks. Great place to stop while on I-10.

My wife had never had a meal from Dickeys, so when on our way home from Thanksgiving holiday I saw a billboard advertising Dickeys. I suggested it. We both enjoyed it very much. I had combo plate with beef brisket and pulled pork. She had the brisket and chicken. My sides were the creamed spinach and green beans. Wife had the fried okra and ceasar salad. Everything and everyone was perfect. I felt I got my money's worth.
