Our club had its annual banquet at your store on Sat. night. One we had to pay $150 to rent the banquet room. We only had one waitress for the room and she was slow. It was 30 minutes before she took my drink order and then another 20 minutes before I received it. Almost a hour to place a food order and then the wait to receive. No refills on drinks. Considering we had to pay for the room we as a club were very dissatisfied with the service. You also hide a Gratuity fee as a Service Fee,. I feel that should be my option not yours Gratuity is based on service and last night it was poor at best

After being away for more than twenty years, eating at Sonny's again felt more like coming home than crossing the county line. While other restaurants and businesses seem to have declined into faceless corporate experiences, Sonny's still feels like eating with family. Great food, service, and prices. You will not find better BBQ. The brisket is amazing!

I was in Gainesville Florida when Sonny's BBQ started, and I loved it up until about 10 years ago. First they chopped off the top third of the ribs and called them St Louis Style. 30% less food. Then later they started cooking them all in the sweet sauce, I'm a smoking sauce guy. Stopped bye the other day for a barbecue sandwich and french fries, it had been a while since I ate there. There are tons of barbecue restaurants and Shacks in this area so I can be fussy about my pulled pork barbecue. Sadly to say, Sonny's has gone a long way downhill. The pulled pork was more like a gob of pork slapped onto a bun, the french fries used to always be fresh and piping hot, now they were warm and not very good. I think I hear Sonny Tilden rolling around in his grave screaming

2025 update, the wait times and service are not great. I came 3 different times across 2 months thinking maybe it was an off day. All 3 times I had to wait about 4-5 minutes to be greeted by the host, all 3 times it took on average of 6min to get a server and a drink order put in, and all 3 times it took about 20min to get food from the time I ordered. 2 of the times was on a Wednesday at 7:30 with the dining room at quarter capacity. I understand this kind of wait on a Sunday, but not on a random weekday. Either I just keep hitting it on bad days or the wait and kitchen staff have slipped.

I specifically ordered without sauce but when I got home to eat my food it was drowned in sauce. Tried to call to report the issue but managers canât be bothered to answer the phone apparently. So now I am without my dinner because Iâm not driving 35 minutes back to the location to get the order fixed. Donât recommend the Marianna FL location at all. This isnât the first time theyâve messed up an order I guess I shouldâve known better

Brisket wasn't cooked long enough (it ain't supposed to be pink) and had almost no smoke . It wasn't sliced thin either. All of the sauces are overly sweet. Garlic bread was on point. Fries would have been good if they hadn't sat for a bit. Service was good.
