Great staff, the food was great. I had a double bacon cheeseburger. I had to eat it in sections it was so big and the burger was handmade and not frozen.

We stopped in Spears Cafe while visiting Merritt’s Mill Pond from Miami after reading the reviews. It’s a small hole in the wall so don’t expect anything fancy, but DO expect some good food and great service!!! The home fries were 🔥, fried ocra fresh, and the burgers… THE BEST BURGERS I’ve ever had; huge, plus budget friendly!! The service was exceptional, from the ladies that served us l, to the cook in the back. They checked up on us continuously to make sure we were good and made us feel welcomed! If you’re ever in this area, and want a mean burger, don’t hesitate and stop here!! You won’t regret it. They close early though so plan accordingly so you don’t miss this gem!!!

Spears Cafe is an absolute gem! The food is amazing and super budget-friendly, which is a huge plus. The owners are so sweet and welcoming being new to the area, it meant a lot to feel that kind of warmth. It’s a charming little hole-in-the-wall spot with a cozy, down to earth vibe. And don’t even get me started on the lemonade perfectly sweet and tart, and it tastes consistently amazing every time. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

The people that work here are so nice and provide such good service! Also you get to write your name on the walls or other places. Nothing frozen and the fries were so good!
We got there around 12:30pm. They were busy but we were able to get a seat on the inside. They have seating inside & on the outside.
I definitely want to eat here again when passing back through.
Parking looks tricky but we parked in what looked like a parking area almost across from the restaurant.
Awesome food. Never disappoints. Best burger in town.

Just loved stopping in here great food and homemade hushpuppys the burger was perfect and thick. We in town from iowa due to car repair and walked there was worth the walk husband and wife team that enjoy what they do and work hard.

Step off the franchise fast food train and try Great food at good prices.
Definitely can't go wrong here if you're looking for down home cooking, exceptional hospitality and just down home folks.
Closes at 2pm. Got here just before close and people were still streaming in.
Parking is across the street and there are other parking lots next door.
