First off gave jerk chicken instead of curry. The jerk was more like BBQ. The rice was gummy with a few peas making it inedible. The cabbage was okay, I was able to eat that. Waste of money…I should have know when I pulled up and the parking lot was empty.

I got the curry goat plate and I got my man the curry chicken plate. We also got festival. The food smelled absolutely horrible. However despite, I decided to try the food. I assumed it was just the smell that was bad. The food was absolutely horrible. Down to the rice. I got rice & beans.and my man got white rice. Both were soo sticky and clumpy and unseasoned. I will definitely not be returning. For those 3 thing i spent $46.I've spent half of that for better portions and better tasting authentic carribean food.

Food: My oxtails came out a little cold, not enough peas in the rice and the gravy that was poured on top of the oxtails was VERY different. Service: Although we waited for a while before being noticed that we were even present inside of the restaurant, it was ok. Atmosphere: The temperature was pretty cold inside in THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.

Not authentic Jamaican cuisine or good or sanitary the meat tasted raw like it wasn't cleaned Ordered jerk ribs taste just like brown stew chicken didn't even smell like jerk worse Jamaican food I ever ate Should've known they weren't even popping up on Google And had no customers or have no business being in business told the lady I didn't like the food they just told me oh well

I am actually Jamaican so listen up. This is the worst food l've tried in my entire life. I got the j*** pork and rice and my husband got the curry mutton. The j*** pork had an awful smell and it was definitely not j**** looked more like stew. The rice was soft and barely any peas. My husband and I got bellyache after just trying a little of the food. I had to throw it in the bin, wasting both my time and my money.0/10 would not recommend.

Just went for the first time. Walked in, didn’t get greeted at all. I asked for 2 beef patties, the lady just walked away without a word. I sat down and waited. heard a MICROWAVE SOUND, and when I got my beef patties they were soggy and textured horribly as if it was just microwaved.. I read the previous reviews before going in, and I can confirm they horribly microwave their food instead of making authentic food. Golden Corral is 50x better than this place. I advise anyone against going here. Horrible service (I felt so uncomfortable) and horrible food. As for the beef patties, normally Golden Corral will ask if you want Spicy or Mild. They didn’t. They just gave me a microwaved spicy beef patty LOL. Never coming here again.

Visited after a long day at work. I suggest ordering ahead because it takes quite a while for them to prepare food and i was also informed some dishes are made to order. I should say that for non-Caribbean folks the food would taste ok, but for me I think the food lacked effort. I must say that I was impressed with the bone to meat ratio for the goat curry. The oxtail was a bit tough and I am kinda bummed they didn't add butter beans in the sauce. I expected a lot more from a highly rated place.

We are originally from chicago and wanted some good j*** chicken. So me and my husband tried it. It was good, could of used a little more heat to it. We are used to dry were theirs was wet. It was okay. I wouldnt go back just due to wanting more heat. But their homemade punch was Great!
