Great food, great friendly service loved the salsa. I ordered the steak fajitas and they were very good, would definitely recommend, good portion sizes and a great place to eat some good authentic mexican cuisine

Tried this place for the first time and will definitely be back. Service was awesome and the food was great. Portion size couldn’t be better. The guacamole was made fresh at the table with ability to delete ingredients if wanted.

Service was extremely slow, food was not good. Seafood Chimi was mushy, had mushrooms in it. Who the hell puts mushrooms in Mexican food! Refried beans were very salty. The worst margarita I've ever had. Will NOT go back!

It is very hard to find a authentic mexican restaurant that tast like home cooked. The food is absolutely fantasticAnd there blueberry margaritas are to die for. The workers are so friendly and always have a smile on there faces. My husband and I come at least once a month to eat and everytime it is wonderful.

The margaritas are made with wine, but the strawberry, mango, and raspberry margaritas taste like they are made with real fruit! Service was wonderful and the food was great!

I ordered the taco plate (crunchy) They came out soggy. Our waiter asked if everything was ok, so we told him. He said sorry my hands are tied. The kitchen does that maybe you can just eat faster. WHAT…. Dude they came to me that way and what kind of answer is that. Then we asked for a manager and we were told he was the manager. So I asked for the owners phone number and no one came back for anymore info on that. Go figure….. so all I can do is warn the locals to beware of this location. They don’t care!!!

My experience here was very poor. Okay so here’s the bad part: They sat us down and it took them an hour to just get our drink orders. 15 min latter we got the drinks but no salsa &. chips. 10 min later we got our chips & salsa. They took our order and it arrived 1 hour later. Yet no silverware. I started eating with my bare hands and a few moments later we got our silverware. They never got us any refills or checked on us. Obviously they have staffing issues but the staff they did have were could have done a better job prioritizing their tasks. The men’s bathroom was fairly clean but something was slowing dripping from the ceiling that would drip on you while using the toilet, kind of gross but was probably just condensation from an AC. All in all it was a bad experience and I hope that my experience was just a fluke and not representative of how they normally operate.The good part: the food was good and reasonably priced. They plated the food pretty well too & the atmosphere and decorations were nice. They have a little arcade machine that was free to use and fun for the kiddos to play on while waiting.In conclusion the service was bad (hopefully this was just a fluke) The food was good but not the best I’ve ever had.I might give these guys another try the next time I’m up that way and will update my review accordingly.

Also they just announced they are opening another location in Live Oak so we are going to check them out there too! Mayo location noted only open Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun currently.
Really enjoyed my tacos and had a terrific waiter, Ricardo. I was pretty amazed on how roomy & well decorated this Mexican restaurant is in little old Mayo. I understand the same owner is opening a new location in Live Oak.

Fabulous, unexpected find. Passing through Mayo after a visit to Ichetucknee Springs, we found this gem. Authentic Mexican food, extensive, creative menu and superb service. Definitely order the Guacamole appetizer which our waiter, Marcos, made fresh at our table. It will be a stop for us again whenever we are in the area.
