The McAlpin Country Diner has a new cook, and the food is awesome! I’m updating my original rating from just an “okay” meal to a great spot for lunch. The atmosphere has also had a fun upgrade—from local photos to a lively Rock Bop theme.
CK’s new staff is top-notch, and the service really stands out. It’s so great to see our local diner shine!
They’re located just off SR 129 between McAlpin and Branford, and if you're staying at an Airbnb nearby, CK’s McAlpin Country Diner is the place to go for a delicious, home-cooked meal.
Just be sure to stop in before 3 PM—you won’t want to miss it!

Incredible grilled pork chop! The greens were some of the best I've ever had and the mashed potatoes were fabulous! And absolute gem in this little town in Suwannee County. CK the owner and server is a treasure as well. Go dine here, you will not be disappointed!

Awesome small town diner, always had great food, always had great service, zero complaints at all from the new ownership and management of this establishment. You have to try the chicken salad sandwich it's amazing and always leaves me full, the sweet tea is awesome as well!
