The waitress was good but the food was terrible!! I could not finish my crab cake sandwich...it was one of the worst crab cake sandwiches that I have had

Food is low quality, soups are canned, no inspiration in any dish. "Home made lemonade" tasted like a base for a mixed drink. It was terrible.

Wanted to get out of town and try something new. Drove an hour to what would end up being a horrible night. The calamari..is not real calamari and definitely not crispy. I got my dinner first..to which we then had to wait another 10 minutes before my bf's dinner finally came after being asked where it was. The "t-bone steak" looked and tasted more like a flank steak..on top of that..the cook decides to throw peppers on top to which I got a sorry excuse that they didn't know how the peppers got there..when they were neatly placed on top to give it a colorful look I guess? The fries were so salty you couldnt even eat them. By the end of our dinner I had to use the restroom to which there was no toilet paper at all. By the end of the night me and him were taking turns to our own bathroom and wasn't sure which end it was going to come from. Definitely do not recommend and will never return.

We have been coming to Melbourne beach for years and finally decided to try Jakes and we were not disappointed! We had fish and chips and the shrimp po boy and both were very fresh and cooked to perfection! Service was great, ask for Melissa !!

We were looking for somewhere to eat as we travelled through Melbourne Beach - found this on Google and stopped off with our kids. Loved the decor, especially the shark on the ceiling!

We got in lucky since it was Elvis night and there was one table left to fit our 7 people. So first I’d suggest calling in to make sure you don’t need a reservation. The spicy snow crab was great, mom liked the coconut shrimp with coconut sauce. Fish n chips was good. We came for the crab and wasn’t disappointed. The New England chowder was really good, really good not too peppery like some places. They are a little light staffed, but Melissa was great and juggled us well with all the others and we were glad we tried it out.Show up early if it’s a weekend and your not calling ahead.

We had a great early dinner there on Sat 04/16/22. Our waitress Melissa and the bartender Stacy did a fine job. They were short staffed but were still attentive and very friendly. We had the Mussels Posillipo - which were very good, seasoned well, and not over cooked. We also had a dozen cold peel-n-eat shrimp. The shrimp were seasoned when cooked (not a ton of old bay showered on the shells when they were cooked) and not over cooked. The cocktail sauce is GREAT! A nice kick to it. We each also had a bowl of Clam Chowder which was full of clams and was very tasty. The service was good as was the food. When back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stop back in.

St. Patrick's Day dinner was fantastic. The best corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots ever. Potato leek soup was very delicious. The Irish creme bread pudding was unique and super tasty. Chef Barbara has made significant improvements to the menu. I've had not had a bad meal at Jake's for several months. We love her cooking and will be back. Oh the crab cakes are the absolute best!

We love Jake’s on Wednesdays with Karaoke Dave and our favorite waitress, Melissa! They are awesome and make it a fun time out for our family. P.S. Fish-n-chips is good, the chili not so much

What a great and chill restaurant. Perfect for a night out or a quick bite to eat. Waitress was amazing and friendly and took our orders in a quick and professional manner. Food was amazing for the price ( I reccomend the Phillie cheese steak sandwich). Happy hour is always a must as you get cheaper drinks. All in all, very friendly and reliable service, great staff, great food and prices are extremely good. Would definitely come back and most definitely reccomend.

We really enjoyed the live music, and our server Melissa was so friendly and attentive. We liked it enough to go back a second time.

Jake's is one of our favorite stops when in Melbourne. The fried shrimp is really good. But, my favorite thing isn't on the menu anymore. Order the fried shrimp and ask for buffalo shrimp style and blue cheese. The cook makes some of the best buffalo shrimp out there. I really believe it should be added back to the menu. It's that good.
