We had an amazing time here. Every single employee was super attentive, even the executive chef came out to all the tables to check and make sure the food was good. I definitely recommend a reservation, we showed up at 7:15 on a Saturday and had a 45 minute wait, which wasn't too bad but they were still busy. Food was really really good. We also got a burger and my husband said it needs more salt and pepper but other than that, it was all really good! The appetizer (loaded fries) was actually a large amount of fries, it filled me up completely even though I only had half. I had to get a box to take basically all my pizza home. I will definitely come back!

This place has so much potential. Not sure why they cant find the right chef and manager. The food is so inconsistent. Our last visit, my daughters chicken was undercooked and the tempura vegetables were too. The batter was oozing out of the vegetables. So disappointing. No manager was in site. We had to eat our dinner while our daughter waited for her to be recooked. Please do better. We love the staff and atmosphere but can’t go back for dangerously undercooked foods.

It had been a while since we had eaten at Ocean 302. The last two times were OK, but we noticed the food was not quite at the level we had experienced before. Last night, we learned Chef Jeff had come back and boy what a difference a great chef makes! Starting with the menu: it was back to a good solid fine dining menu. Not necessarily exotic dishes, but the combinations and selection was of specials was back to really good choices. I had a hard time deciding what to get. I settled for the seared scallops and my wife went for the Lamb Chops “Lollipops”. The latter an appetizer. Both outstanding. I also want to call out our waitress was great. Rose Angel took care of us making out 39 anniversary outing fun and sweet. Thank you. Ocean 302 is back in terms of food. Their service has always been outstanding. This is the second time we go on a Sunday evening and the place was not crowded. They now have an open patio to sit outside if you prefer. Thanks Chef Jeff. Don’t go anywhere.
