The drive-thru audio was so terrible I had to ask the worker on the other end to repeat things at least 2 or 3 times. Then, the Big Buford onion was mostly a piece of tough onion skin, so had to pull that off. Other than that, the burger was fine. Edit 8/10/2025: Has the communication system been improved in the last 6 years? We haven't tried it since that last bad experience.

We truly love our MI Checkers! We’ve been eating here for many years, and have never been disappointed. Their sandwiches are great, and their fries may actually be the best in the business! The staff here has always been friendly over the years, and we love sitting outside, watching the traffic on Courtenay and the often interesting weather. Seriously, we do love this place!

10:45pm on a Tuesday and I sit at the mobile order pickup window for over 10min obviously ignored by every employee in there. Not once did anyone make contact with me or ask who I'm picking up for. Waste of time trash establishment.

Overall service was a 3/5. The food was great and fresh. But the lady who served us at the drive through had an attitude over the intercom and at the window. We asked for ketchup she turned away and then turned back and said they had none without checking. Went up to the window after we parked and got ketchup.
