We met these wonderful folks the night before at a local hibachi spot and My husband and I ended up getting invited to Debbie’s Diner to be treated with breakfast as a friendly wedding gift! The food was everything you’d expect from a hole-in-the wall diner, absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, bacon egg & cheese bagel and the omelets. Best ones around! Went for breakfast this morning. The place was pretty busy, but i had menu and coffee in hand quickly and everyone seemed well looked after. I had the Greek Omelette, which was larger than expected and had plenty of Feta cheese and a tasty tzatziki sauce. Looking forward to trying some of the dessert offerings on future visits ?

One of my first diners found in Merritt Isalnd when we started traveling here before moving down some years ago. This is a very friendly and warm place to eat. Their prices are still very reasonable considering how inflation has hit the economy over the last several years. The once $1 drinks (coffee, tea, and sodas) is now up to $2. There are always some specials on the board, and most desserts are made right there. You don't come here for fancy food, just good, well priced...
