Since the Space Center is a full day experience, it’s great that there is a healthy and filling vegan option. I got the BBQ Jackfruit, Black Beans and Edamame for protein on my custom bowl. The jalapeños were very hot! Staff were not aware of which sauces were vegan. I got sriracha and pico de gallo.
I got a bowl with Jasmine rice, corn, avocado, and tuna, with sriracha ranch on top.
Tuna was middle of the road, what you would expect from bowl shop at a visitor’s center. It wasn’t particularly fresh, but it wasn’t extremely bad either. The corn on the other hand was almost inedible, very chewy, ruining the texture of the entire bowl. The avocado was surprisingly decent. The rice was okay as well. They have a lot of healthy choices for lunch. The food was fresh. The employees were efficient to make the bowls. The mango smoothie was good. I definitely recommend this place over some of the other food choices in Kennedy Space Center.
