stale, burnt tasting coffee and no refunds! purchase at your own risk. No info on where/how coffee is sourced too.
Also it’s very difficult to get the pods out of my machine after brewing. I have to wiggle my finger in to get it out each time. No other brand of pods get stuck in my machine like that
These pods do NOT work with Nespresso machine. 9 out of 10 "clog up" and do not produce a full espresso shot. They are made of some paper/plastic combination (not aluminum like most others) and as a result do not function well. When I contacted Artizan about the issue and send videos I waited 2 weeks for the following verbatim response: "while our pods are compatible with Nespresso Original Line machines, we are not affiliated with Nespresso and have our own quality standards and specifications. If brewing lungo is your preferred method, we unfortunately cannot guarantee optimal performance, and it may be best to consider products that are specifically designed for that use." I ordered hundreds of dollars worth of pods thinking the issue might be with my Nespresso machine, but based on the recommendation from Artizan, I did seek out other brands and products and happy I did, because the other brand pods (also organic and decaf) work perfectly which confirms there is nothing wrong with my Nespresso machine and that the issue is the Artisan pod construction. Hope this post might save others the costly trial and error process that I went through. Like Artizan recommended to me, I recommend you find another brand that is more compatible with Nespresso and also stands behind their products.

If you're a Canadian, I would strongly recommend you reconsider any purchase with this company. Highly unscrupulous business practices to say the least when considering shipping across the border.

This company sells great products! Their organic, compostable and safely decaffeinated coffee pods are my family’s favorite! Their caffeinated varieties are also excellent. They have so many sustainable varieties to choose from. We particularly like the single origin Tanzania and Peru pods. Great flavor! We will not buy pods from anyone else. I wish we found this company earlier!
Good product, quick delivery

This review will apply only to Artizan's Nespresso compatible pods. I have not visited their location in person. Before I start, I should explain why I'm posting here. The problem is that Artizan clearly curates all reviews submitted to their ecommerce page. Nothing below a 4 star is listed, because they delete the rest. I posted a 1 star review on two of their Nespresso products, Heavenly Project and Stout.. Neither of these reviews ever appeared on the site. Any sort of response from them might have been nice. Their apathy and dishonestly alone is enough to not make me want to do business with them again. Now to the nitty gritty, I was very excited to find an organic, fair trade product for my morning Nespresso fix. I also though compostable pods sounded great. It turns out pods themselves are worthless. Both varieties I reviewed had all the flavor and complexity of a piece of damp cardboard. The issue probably isn't their coffee, but the pods they use. When I pull a shot with a standard Nespresso pod it typically takes 20 to 30 seconds. The Artizan pods ran about half that time. Even worse, the first half of the pull expelled nothing but water!I'm no fool when it comes to coffee as I previously ran several high-end, local coffee shops. My company's gold standard for shot time was 25 seconds. Longer than that espresso starts to taste burnt, shorter it's too bitter. With Artizan's uniquely disastrous 15-second, half-water pods it's flavorless.I bought a fairly significant amount based on their reviews, only to find out they're not accurate. I no longer feel great about compostable pods as they're going in the compost unused. This is not a company I would ever do business with again at any level.Hopefully a few people will read this before spending a bunch of money on dishonestly represented, horrible pods.
Swiss Water Process AND Organic for their decaf?? Woohoo! Closest to chemical free as they come 💖 This company is a savior to my addiction 🥰☕️💋

I’ve been buying organic Artizan pods for several years now and enjoyed every one of their blends, specially the Cuba Mia one. I purchased this single origin discovery pack because I wanted to see if I could taste the difference between each origin and I was not disappointed, each coffee is very different, delicious and fresh. Also, I’m happy to be supporting a local company like Artizan Coffee who roast and packages their coffee pods here in the US.

No other coffee beans compare to Artizan coffee. These are really organic. You can tell by taste. Additionally, they have a decent service, fast delivery and responsive.
The coffee pods are great. Their site is horrid. Wasted so much time trying to place a subscription order without getting charged for shipping. There’s no way to bundle several pod types in a subscription. Have to go through the whole process for each type of pods. Ridiculous that a site would that user unfriendly in this day and age. C’mon Artizan Coffee! Get your act together! I swear if I didn’t love coffee so much (without pesticides preferably), I would’ve moved on!
I love their coffee. They have great variety and the taste is amazing! I am a coffee enthusiast and love me some espresso. One of the reasons why I choose Artizan coffee is because the are organic. Their price a amazing also. I chose this at any given time over nespresso coffee. I don't think nespresso coffee are organic.
Taste great and good for the environment.
Passed by their facility and took home a bag of a light/dark roast. Put it in the grinder and they he espresso machine...you can tell the difference of a unadulterated bean compared to what in those other mainstream roasts . Great product
