I’ve never eaten there but I order from them at least twice a month. There are very few chained better than Ethiopian in my opinion, Awash does Ethiopian proud. The flavors are out of this world and it is always fresh.

I was so excited for this dinner with friends... it was very disappointing, where is the flavor 👀 ❓️ I had th3 lamb tips, it was ok 3 out of five. It was tender but the base was just really salt. I didnt like the bread with the holes it had a slightly sour after taste. I dont take points off for that because thats just my taste. My friends had a taste of Awash combo plate with the egg. They seemed to enjoy it. So I ordered one to go in case I missed something from having the lamb only. Got home and tried the little buts of every like wthelly seriously? The green veggies tasted kind of like collard greens - but no flavor there was a little but of cabbage on there no flavor, there was a little thing with green beans on there. NO FLAVOR!!! It tasted like straight from a can. Im not exaggerating.I nibbled here and there and threw the rest away. There is no way food from Ethiopia tastes like this. So just for that im willing to try again but at another restaurant or maybe even in Ethiopia. But like the name AWASH. This meal was awash - Dissapointed 🙄

Very authentic and delicious experience. We had the vegetarian combo for 2, kifto (make sure to ask for it raw, the best best best dish of the night), and meat sambusas which came with a wonderful dipping sauce. At the end of our meal we had the Ethiopian coffee, also delicious and great experience. Overall the food and service is fantastic! Must visit!
