Disappointed and yet another waste of money on eating out. I had brown stew chicken lunch special, which was so ,so. Paid extra for the steam veg and it was terrible didn't even finish it . Since they decided to waste my money I made sure to let it be known that they are not worth visiting again. Save your hard earned money.
Donna's Caribbean restaurant food is awesome. You don't have to worry about the portion size you will receive a lot! I've been there different times with the same great atmosphere, maybe one or two in the line inside but there's not a long wait. So if you're looking for authentic Jamaican food give Donna's restaurant a try.
I was very disappointed with this particular location. It was my first time here and I specifically tried this location on its name sake after having tried the one in Miami Gardens on 27th ave. The food at the one on 27th ave was great and an expression of true Caribbean cooking. On the contrary, this one on 2nd ave was quite the disappointment all around. The food (rice, cabbage) was bland in taste. I got the king fish and that was the tip of horrible. It was 1) bland in taste...
