You call this Carne Asada? La Hormiga Del Oro is galaxies ahead in terms of food, flavor, and overall enjoyment. The steak was egregious, bottom of the barrel, dry, over cooked, flat and above all else, tiny. Rice and beans were good, fried cheese was hard and lacking flavor. Salad was good and plantains were ok. The travesty however wasn’t even the sliver of meat they gave, but the price, outrageous for the quality of food I received, two plates, rice pudding, and a drink for $44. You do not have to worry about me returning, i’ll keep going to the place that does me best.
