I remember when Hammond Bakery was on 191st &NW 37th Ave. Everybody from school would go there to get the patties and the lines were long! I am talking about 77’s and early 80’s! Even tho the food is good, the quality of the patties and curry has changed , just not the same. The original Pattie maker in those days must have retired by now! Miss it! The patties were made from scratch! No Jamaican Restaurant anywhere can make the patties Hammond’s Bakery made in those days! The curry seasoning has even chang! Don’t even tastes same!

Patty aren’t fresh at this location or maybe sit to long because doesn’t sell as fast but the experience it was terrible tried 2 days back to back but the experience was the same. Morning patty was horrible was fresh and was reheated/ dry with a slight burnt taste. Maybe it’s best to buy 2-3pm
So many places have lowered quality to maximize profits, in my opinion. That is not the case here. They do not disappoint. Everything was amazing and will always recommend.

Even though, the place needs to be bigger. Everything that is served, is damn good to your stomach.
I ordered 4 Ackee and salt fish patties omg never again..the Ackee and salt fish was nowhere in sight all we ate was patty crust which didn't taste that good..lord I normally big up my yawdie establishment but this one deserves a review.. stay far from the ackee and saltfish patty..its a no from us..prob won't return after today..
