I only go here for their fresh jamaican patties. They have the best Jamaican patties, I have ever tasted. The meat is tasty and the the crust is fresh. And the patties are a nice size for the price. Depending on when you go here, it can be a little busy. I love their jamaican patties.

Overhyped Garbage! I gave it a try and ordered a box of patties the ignorant women working behind the counter have negative energy, I was asking about the pastries behind the counter and she acting dumb like she didn’t hear me, change your attitudes nobody want that negative energy on my food and why is the counter always empty? Fill it up with pastries why so LAZY? If they’re lazy about the main stuff they don’t clean and the place is DIRTY just like those attitudes it scare away the money some of us come all the way from key largo! Not for this crap!
Food here is not great tasting as it us to be some years ago. The callaloo patty was salty and the beef patty was salty as well. Definitely will not be going back or even recommend but let my review scare you from trying it yourself

I’ve been a loyal Hammond’s customer for many years. Even while living out of state, I regularly had a dozen Callaloo patties shipped to me. Recently, I made the drive from West Palm Beach, where I now live, to pick up my usual order in person.
On the way home, I couldn’t resist enjoying one of the patties—and it was just as delicious as I remembered. But to my surprise, the next one I bit into was filled with ground stew chicken. As it happened, the entire batch had been mislabeled.
I contacted the bakery, and I was truly impressed by how quickly and professionally the management team handled the situation. Not only did they identify and correct the issue right away, but they went above and beyond by personally delivering a fresh batch of patties directly to my home. And let me just say—they were the best I’ve ever had from Hammond’s: perfectly flaky and full of flavor.
To make up for the mix-up, they included six additional patties in the delivery—three of which were ackee and saltfish, and just as delicious. This kind of transparency, responsiveness, and generosity defines outstanding customer service. Hammond’s is setting the standard, and I couldn’t be more appreciative.

I am a Jamaican and I wanted some fruit cake( black cake). I was so Amp to get in and I purchased 2 slices because of the reviews and I was leaving to go back out of state. The cake flavors were way too strong and it made the cake bitter. I was really looking forward to it. Customer service was ok because when I went inside, the 2 ladies were having a conversation and it continued while I was placing my order and it wasn't about my order.

The service is great, the lady who serves the food is such a sweetheart and the atmosphere is like the typical Caribbean bakery...but.....the food is a definite no for me. The funny thing is that I bought 4 beef patties and 2 rum cake slices and my husband and I both spit out the first bite in unison 😅 both the patty and the cake were extremely old tasting the cat didn't even want the patty and he eats everything 😭
