Hook fish and chicken

I recently visited Hook Fish and Chicken, and sadly, it was a disappointing experience. The food was both overcooked and overpriced. We tried a variety of menu items, including the conch salad, which tasted overwhelmingly like tomatoes, masking any conch flavor. The fried catfish, snapper filet, and shrimp were all rubbery and dry, clearly overcooked, and desperately needed hot sauce to add any flavor. The cocktail sauce was another letdown, tasting more like ketchup than anything else.

We also tried the sweet tea, which had a very strange flavor that didn’t sit well with us, and the mango pineapple drink, which was way too sweet to enjoy.

On the positive side, the fried okra and mushrooms were well-cooked and enjoyable. However, those few highlights weren't enough to make up for the overall poor quality of the meal.

With so many seafood restaurants available, I regret spending almost $60 here. I wish I had chosen a different restaurant. I won’t be returning and can't recommend it to others.

I brought the ocean perch with 8 shrimp combo with a passion fruit slushie. The fish and fries was overcooked. The fish tasted so spoiled I couldn't finish it. The shrimp had a funny taste too like a mix of sea and smelly freezer. The fries was hard as little rocks. The best thing was the slushie. But everything else just go to Snappers.

Ordered food from here didn’t have an pleasant taste had us waiting for 15 min in the parking lot

Easy for me to stop on my way home.
I pick up a small fish dinner with okra
Service good food hot. With ice cold can tea. I stop often. Cat fish perfect.

You have one person running the front and drive thru . Not people friendly for a rest I wouldn’t recommend my Dog to order from there. Service stinks

My family enjoyed the food we were visiting from Atlanta, we don't have hooks, but we do have jj chicken and fish, which is basically the same.

The drive-thru order cashier that takes the order is always nice polite and helpful!

Recommended dishes: Small Catfish Dinner

Sometimes the fries are cold or burnt.Maybe they deep fry everything ( Wings,fries,shrimps) in the same old oil. It could be they mixed the old burnt fries with the hot fries. Hate when restaurant do that. Just get rid of the old burnt fries and serve HOT FRESH FRIES. Customer service is good though.

The worst sefvice i ever experienced in my life. Dont go there unless you have at least 2hours to spare and have the patience of mothe r taresa2 thumbs and 2 big toes down
