I showed up just as the food had run out for the day. They did have some soup left and gave me some of it and it was delicious. If I'm ever in the area again I'm going to stop by.
There is one meal option for the day ( it was great)

Food was exceptional, didn't think anything of it at the entrance, but when we brought the food home, WOW!
The server gave us free patties for being the first time customer, haven't ate it yet, but if food was that great, can't wait to taste the vegan patties.

You had Star Wars, then The Empire Strikes Back, and then the final the Return of the Jedi. Two times he has opened his delicious vegan restaurant, now this is the third time. The last time he "abandoned us" in 2018 to again go galavant in Paradise in Ghana.Yes Konata has returned again from Africa, and has rekindles are vegan addiction.

Sooo glad Konata’s is back!!! Best quality vegan Jamaican food you will find. He use to have a restaurant at 441 and 135th. Food is amazing and the restaurant is clean and pleasant (take away only). You will be happy to try the meal, a pattie and cake! Best around! He knows how to prepare food properly!

The best quality vegan Jamaican food around. I have eaten at all the vegan Jamaican places in Miami and Broward, and this one is the best. Konata, the owner has been a chef for many many years and opened many restaurants. He knows how to prepare food properly and with Care. Top quality. Take away only. The food is delicious!

You won't be disappointed if you try their fresh vegan menus. Fantastic food! All food is fresh, warm, and made with exquisite care. Nothing is a poor dish. Love the variety and quality.
Amazing food, always fresh! A must try if your in the Miami area. Konatas always provides fantastic meals that are prepared daily/fresh. I try and go as often as possible. Owner and staff are extremely friendly.
I believe this restaurant is completely vegan, but they advertise as vegetarian. They serve no meat at all. Whether vegan or vegetarian, the food is delicious and plentiful! It is a charming, small place. You order your food at the counter from a very nice young man (son of the owner), then you can take it out or sit down and eat it there. There are a couple of counters with a lot of stools to sit on. I ordered 1 meal and shared it with a friend. It was plenty for both of us. We started out with a yattie (corn), which was wonderfully flavored. It was a tad on the spicy side for me (I don't like any spice at all), but it was so good that I overlooked the spice. Nothing else was spicy. Every day they have something different. Today, our meal was a heaping portion of quinoa, with sweet plantains, some bean stew, and a delicious "meat". The meat had some carrots and other veggies with it. It also came with a slice of avocado on it, as well as a salad with some really good dressing - a full meal for $10. It was FAN-tastic! This little restaurant is super-clean. In fact, the news did a report on restaurants last week and they kept raving about how clean this one was. The owner is meticulous and takes a lot of pride in his restaurant! It's on a main street (NW 7th Ave/441) just a little south of 135th Street (on 134th), and just seconds off of I-95. You can't miss it – a small, stand-alone building with a red awning. I loved my meal here and was happy to find this place. I will be back very soon to try something different. If you are a vegetarian in Miami looking for some good eats, or even if you’re a meat-eater, give this place a try.
