I drove 1 hour and 56 minutes to try this restaurant. Only to get there to be met with very poor service and the food definitely did not taste as appealing as it looks on here.Once seated no one came to take our order. My son politely asked the hosted if they forgot about us. The table in front of us, came after us and their order was taken immediately. After witnessing the staff just hanging out around the bar. Finally a young lady approaches our table grudgingly to take our order. After having our order taken people were seated at the table behind us who were approached immediately for their orders. After a good 45 minutes or more we still have not received our food, the table behind us on the other hand did. I have never been so disappointed in my life by a restaurant establishment. Big up to your marketing team they make your restaurant look wayyyy more appealing and advertising than it truly is. They had the audacity to add an 18% gratuity as if…….don’t waste your time and money #dontbelievethehype #poorcustomerservice #horriblecustomerservice #foodnasty #foodwasold

Great food! Great service!Updated review.Friendly service.I got carryout this time. The rice and peas and cabbage were great. The stewed Conch was extremely salty. Conch doesn't need all of that salt.

Came here as a tourist for the jazz concert and needed something good and flavorful to eat. The food ambience and service were good.I was only in Florida for 3 days and I ended up eating here everyday. Since I couldn't find anything near the stadium that looked good. (Once at the table and twice at the bar...Bar service is quicker)Side notes: The food could be a little spicier but I think they play it safe for the tourist and They could have more vegetarian options. I do enjoy fish every now and then. But I had to eat it everyday since there was no other option.Also I noticed when I sat at he table the bartender was also our waiter (reason why I chose to sit at the bar my last 2 days) our waiter was nice but he seemed annoyed at times understandable so because he was being overworked.But other than that I was happy and would visit again.

This was truly a joy. I was with a large party, but the service was excellent. Everyone commented on the amazing flavor of the meals. I had jerk wings and it was outstanding. Definitely on the must visit list when in Miami.

Anything that was not fried came out cold which is a disservice to this establishment because even though the food was luke warm to cold it was flavorful. My family had lunch here on a Sunday. I will say... it was a pretty large party. Our waitress was waiting on our party of 35, bartending, and waiting on other customers. Service was moving at the pace of molasses which is not a dig at the waitress because she tried her best. The thing is she had way too much on her plate. There was barely any organization, leadership, or management. I would return on another day to see if things are better when it's less crowded. The restaurant is certainly under staffed and it shows. We spent $250 for my family of 5 and it was not worth that much money but alas. Oh yes 18% gratuity is automatically added.
Lorna’s has so many delicious dishes! And the service, hospitality and vibe is ALWAYS on point!!! . You must dine there!!!

They have many good reviews, hence that is why I went. However I went here and it didn’t meet my expectations. The food did not have that “island touch” to it. The service was alright. The restaurant has beautiful aesthetics! I will say the drink a are 10/10! Tasty & strong.However the food? It did not give what it was suppose to. A little disappointed.
This was much needed outing! The food and service at Lornas was amazing. This stewed conch and snapper was delicious! Not to mention that strawberry hennessy though!
