This place used to be called Macca Tree. The parking is free, easy, and plentiful. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and patient. I ordered brown stew chicken, rice & peas and steamed veggies, with a cream soda.

The cream soda was delicious. The chicken was bland. It didn't taste authentic at all. It was dry and was missing something. I think they used browning in the bottle instead of browning the sugar in a pan. I didn't taste any tomato or Ketchup in the sauce either. The chicken definitely could've been better. The rice was dry, which is weird. I don't think I've ever experienced dry rice before. And the veggies were blah. Hopefully, I caught them on a bad day and this is not a representation of what they are truly capable of. ??‍♀️

I'm really let down. On April 6, 2024, I picked up a catering order for rice and beans, jerk chicken, and brown stew chicken. The food was incredibly disappointing, clearly rushed and poorly made. It completely ruined the baby shower, and to top it off, I didn't even get a refund. If you enjoy the taste of nursing home food, then this place is perfect for you.

The jerk chicken was dry my son couldn't even eat it. The curry goat was okay. I found a piece of hair and that happens sometimes as hair flies. But then there was another piece of hair at the bottom, that was disappointing.

The food was excellent I definitely enjoyed soo much that I didn't even get to snap a picture of the plate of food which was made with love, now the wait time was another story it was a little wait for me to receive 2 plate of food but the deliciousness of the food made it worth the wait. I recommend for good quality food, I had the fried chicken btw.

Catered food for my event and everything was delicious. The Mac and cheese was delicious, the j*** chicken was juicy and taste great. Wings were flavorful. They had everything ready on time and the customer service was great. Great food, I will be coming back for

Haven’t been in years noticed it was new management, was a bit skeptical at first. Boy was I wrong to be skeptical, the food was better than ever before. 10/10 the lunch special was worth it, the lemonade which the manager told me was homemade was delicious and Oxtail plate was a 12/10

Treva at the front counter is beyond disrespectful with a chip on her shoulder. The j*** chicken lunch special was tough and under cook, when my mother came back with the plate, Treva was beyond rude, nasty and disgruntle. Customers who was there had to step in and speak up against Treva behavior. They are other Jamaican restaurants on 27th Ave near by with better customer service.Jamaicans are the worse especially towards their own kind. They will never in a lifetime get my business ever again.
