In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!

Confession time: I live in South Florida and have never really been a fan of oxtail (gasps in braised betrayal)…until I tried it through Meat the Veggies. They have completely changed my view!
I was able to purchase their pulled oxtail meat to make at home and it exceeded expectations. The flavor is amazing, and I even made soft tacos with it, which turned out great with a little chipotle ranch. My daughter, who’s also picky, surprisingly loved it too! Hands down, one of the best experiences I’ve had with oxtail. Highly recommend them!

I’ve loved this place since they first opened. The oxtail sandwich and broccolini never disappoints! I’ve also had the veggie wrap and though I’m not vegan, I still really enjoyed it. Also, don’t forget to ask for the sauces :)

OK People, like seriously you MUST get a platter with a bit of E-very-thing. It's not just one thing that's good people. It is E-very-thing. MTV catered for my pool party and the food was GONE. People snorted the oxtail sandwiches. Like seriously you couldn't even tell there were oxtail sandwiches on the platter. Loved the fancy presentation and AH-mazing food. Seriously People, run don't walk!

Had my first and definitely not my last meal (shrimp & grits) which was absolutely delicious. The shrimp & grits (with added cheese and butter) were both well seasoned. The curry red sauce was on point and added another dimension to the meal. Loved the Hawaiian roll and “green” eating utensils. Ordered online which was super easy and everything was ready when I arrived. Am looking forward to trying other entrees from Meat the Veggies.

Oxtail sandwich was good, fresh, lightly seasoned not salty. The bread was sweet like Hawaiian bread rolls, but fresher. balanced the flavors and the the cabbage tied it altogether with a nice crunch.
