I was disappointed. I work near this one and I wanted to try it out. The manager took my order not friendly at all I even told her it was my first time I saw one price on the menu for a 3 piece which had a side no drinks are include the meal started at 10.80 the bill was over 16.85 the receipt did not show break down the dining table area was dirty the manager was discussing something with a un happy associate that was tell her he is leaving. I went to the bathroom was very dirty. I was appointed since it’s a new store in a great location out was beautiful inside it was not I left hungry the chicken was salty . I guess I won’t be eating again at pollo campero or will i recommend it to anyone

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. Upon entry, the restaurant was clean and the staff were pleasant. I order the roasted chicken with plantains. A+. The chicken was seasoned well and juicy. It was so good I had to express to the staff how pleased I was. I will definitely come back again.

I recently tried Pollo Campero and overall, the food was pretty good—definitely not your average fast food. The chicken had interesting, bold flavors that stood out from the typical fried chicken spots, and the sides had a nice Latin twist that gave the meal a little extra character.
That said, while the flavors were solid, it didn’t quite measure up to some other places I’ve tried in terms of overall satisfaction. The quality was decent, but not enough to justify the outrageous prices. I get that times are tough and they’re likely trying to cover overhead or save the lease, but charging that much really pushes it into “special occasion” territory—not your go-to meal stop.
If you’re curious and don’t mind spending a bit more, it’s worth a try. But for regular visits, there are other spots offering just as much flavor for a better price.
