My Cashier Kedontae was amazing the other day! Great customer service and very funny. He took my order well and while I was enjoying my meal he was cleaning the lobby and you can tell he truly loves Pollo Tropical because nobody cleans it better than him. 5 Stars Kedontae! Keep being amazing.

I ordered through the drive-thru and was asked to pull into a spot to wait for my food. After waiting patiently, I eventually had to go inside, only to find out my order had been forgotten. I then had to wait even longer because the plantains had run out.
While I was waiting inside, I noticed a staff member calling out an order number twice — only in Spanish. The customers the order belonged to didn't speak Spanish, so they had no idea it was theirs. I stepped in to clarify it for them.
As a Cuban immigrant myself, I understand language barriers — but I also believe that if you're working in customer service at the front of a restaurant in the U.S., it's important to at least try to communicate in English or find a way to make sure all customers are being helped fairly. This experience could have been smoother for everyone involved with a bit more attention and communication.
This location constantly gives low amount of chicken. Feel like I got more croutons and lettuce than chicken. I always avoid this location but had to stop by today due to it being the closest but now I remember why I don’t come here. Won’t be coming back ever again this has gone on for way too long and apparently never improves.

Customer service is horrible, when you ask for something they give you attitude. They make you pay for an extra cilantro sauce when they only give you one. I ask for another chicken they give me bones only the lady ladies all started laughing did not speak English and was rude. They said this is not a house that is a fast food restaurant. When I asked also for the yuca fries to be well done, everyone was just so rude and laughed at me. I was embarrassed and left depressed. Couldn’t even eat my food of how bad I was treated
