The guy is very nice, with great customer service, the portion is plenty of food for 1 person at a great price ($22 for the oxtail). They do cash only. Make sure to bring some unless you want to pay the ATM fee.

The food was horrible. It made me walk to CVS at 11pm to get Pepto Bismol. I'm just hoping it's not food poisoning. Worst Jamaican food I've ever eaten. No flavor no taste. In fact the only time I tasted the food was when I burped and I couldn't get the nasty taste from out of my throat. I was so hungry and the only reason I ate after the first bite was because it cost $18 and I didn't want to waste my money The service was slow. The ambiance was poor. Basically the whole restaurant needs to be tossed to the curb. Ugh!Brown Stew Chicken..Ugh Ugh Ugh!! The rice and peas was swimming in taste bad gravy. I don't understand some of these 5 star reviews. Must have been another cook because the person who cooked my food needs to be dragged out of the kitchen and never enter another kitchen again! For real!Brown Stew Chicken..

Visiting from out of town and paid $42 for two dinners. Both were 80% rice and beans 10% meat 10% cabbage. The oxtails were so tiny and flavorless. The sauce on my guy j*** chicken was so watery it wasted all over his shirt and shorts walking a few blocks away. $42 on rice and beans smh I feel like they really did us like that because we’re visiting.

Tun Up. Got stuck on the 95 and had to come off the exit that brought me to young's. I didn't get the Chef name but just like any other Yard place. The expected service. On the menu the Fried Chicken called out to me. And the first thing Chef said was. Mann yu deh in de right place. Yu nah find no place near here that can get the authentic taste of Jamaican fried chicken box lunch. When you walk inside you will know see that you might not want to trust it. But the smell of the food will keep you there. Big up Chef and young restaurant for giving me a taste that I will drive back for.

I've been looking for a good JA place to eat and only found one so far that was OK, today I tried the J*** meal, It was really good and so was the rest of it, one thing I did like is that it wasn't too salty and I could add my own salt how much I wanted. Really enjoyed it, I'll be back to try the curry chicken and oxtail! Also price wasn't too bad, in line with other stores but this time the price vs the taste of the food made sense! Lastly the J*** could have been a little Spicer (without the sauce) but the MAIN thing for me was that it was cook and smoked the way J*** is meant to be! You can see the J*** pit right outside- London Girl!Parking: Plenty of spaces to park

I was in town visiting family and we decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. This is the best restaurant in town. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The j*** chicken was seasoned perfectly and was not too hot. The rice and peas and cabbage were amazing. I will visit this restaurant every time I am in this city. I am so happy I tried this restaurant. Please try this restaurant. You won't regret it.Parking: There was ample parking.

Customer service was great. I came in with an attitude and the owner greeted me with a smile. I asked for oxtails and j*** chicken white. He told me that he could make the dark meat where I wouldn't taste the difference. I declined and asked for oxtails. He was still pleasant. The oxtails were delicious. I wasn't the best customer, but I have to say that his food was awesome and his disposition never changed. Apologies and thank you to Young's Jamaican Restaurant because you can't stay irritable with oxtails that taste that good.

I arrived in Miami hungry for some Jamaican food, I googled and found young’s restaurant I looked at the food I knew it didn’t look good the goat needed to be cooked down because it was salty, my daughter had me taste her oxtail and the oxtail had no flavor and all fatty!! They didn'Steven cut some of the fat off It looked like he took the food off the stove and served it to us when it wasn’t done cooking. Very disappointing. The pictures below are taken before we toss them out.

Young’s restaurant is the ONLY place I go to get oxtails. The ONLY RESTAURANT. His oxtails and peas and rice taste like they were cooked with love and care. Homemade, not industrial cooking. I would highly recommend

My husband and I were looking for some nice Jamaican food near where we were. This place came up with good reviews. However we were very disappointed. We ordered the brown stew chicken with rice and peas. The food lacked seasoning and the rice was over cooked and gunmy. Everything tasted over cooked as if he made it earlier in the day and just warmed it up. The service was nice so I gave 1 star but the food I will def pass in the future!!!
