As much as I was excited to try this place, the excitement was under whelming. The drinks did not have the flavors that a Caribbean drink should have. Classic Mojito was not balanced with the mint, lemon, & sugar which are the key ingredients of this drink The lychee martini was missing the proper balance of the lychee puree. As soon as I saw it, it was very clear. The biggest disappointment was the food. Party of 5, and everyone agreed that none of the Caribbean flavors were not present. The lechón asado & yuca was lacking the mojo. The salmon had no orange flavors, seasoning, etc as well as the mashed fried that was. Included. Now, I’m confused as to this plate, chicken picatta, I dod not know why was it on the menu, restaurant is not Italian. Again, flavorless. The menu is limited and (2) of the plates on the menu, the filet mignon & lamb chops had not been received. The set up is not visually pleasing. On a positive note, music was pleasing but the saxophone player could have been in theme with the type of restaurant. The singer that came later was enjoyable and on theme. Overall, none of us need to return.

I was happy to hear about this place opening and had high hopes, but none of them were met. The food is completely underwhelming and sometimes even tasteless, and the prices are horrendous for the quality of what they provide. The only good thing were the croquetas and the dessert was decent too, but I wouldn’t go back for it. As for the ambiance, the music was unbelievable loud and obnoxious to the point where you couldn’t talk to the person next to you.Apart from that the attention was really good, so kudos to the waiters for that. I’m all for getting more restaurants in Miami Lakes, but this was no good.

It was my aunts 80th birthday and it was a blast...the staff was amazing, we couldn't be any more pleased, the location was perfect, we had mariachi and they had a live singer...lastly...the food was on point, good grief was the food on point...this place is a must and definitely a bucket list to go back again...

Dear consumers, Café mi vitrola found a spacious place, very well laid out in a vintage style that reminds or alludes to the Cuba of other times, the service is bad, take a seat and wait as if I were "the invisible man", then I was served by three different people who I believe more than teamwork due to the negligence of a customer, the absence of some offers on the menu, I understand that these inconveniences are more of today's Cuba than the one evoked on its walls, the food : I ordered a shrimp with garlic, well presented and high in terms of flavor, a place that if it follows the good steps and not some that it is taking could be a reference place in the city...
