Service and atmosphere was Great but food wise it's just a no the short rib empanadas was dry the lomo taste like steak that's been in the freezer for to long and the piña colada taste old .

This was our third time at Chelas. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the drinks were excellent. They also have a speakeasy in the back with excellent ambiance.

I understand music at restaurants but music here is way wayyyy too loud outside or inside, unbearable to eat with your ears blasting
Everything was amazing, but our waiter (don’t remember his name but shorter guy dark curly hair) was honestly awful and I don’t leave bad reviews easily.
First everyone ordered drinks and he said he didn’t know if he had the ingredients for mine or my husband’s. Totally fine. We waited for 15 minutes, while everyone’s food started coming out and we didn’t even order drinks yet.
We finally ordered and my husband was brought the wrong food. So the waiter came over and said his manager told him since he brought a higher priced entree vs what my husband ordered either we still had to pay for it or it would come out of the waiters check. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Why would we pay for something we didn’t order or want.
Finally ordered the correct food and we waited roughly 45 minutes for it. We said to the waiter if it wasn’t out in 5 minutes we didn’t want it anymore. Magically it showed up 30 seconds later.
They also seemed to be out of everything we wanted.
These were just the big things that were bad but there were many other things not worth mentioning.
