However, neither my in-laws or I have received any compensation or benefit, in-kind or otherwise, for this review.I've always been impressed by the effort put in by Múcaro's representatives to make sure that the coffee and brewing equipment they supply to my in-laws' restaurant are up to standard. Recently, horrified by the quality of coffee I purchased at our local supermarket in an emergency setting (my wife and I realized at breakfast that we had run out of our good coffee), I resolved to not let this happen again, and I also decided to patronize a local (Miami) small business with my next coffee purchase.Purchasing from their website was simple, and the coffee was shipped quickly and arrived when promised. For Miamians, they also offer the option of local pickup. We bought a bag each of the So Flo and 90 Miles to Havana blends. From the first grind, the aroma of the So Flo was delicious, and so was every cup thereafter. There is a lot going on flavor-wise, all of it good. I especially detected nutty and chocolaty notes. We had our first cup of 90 Miles to Havana this morning, and it's well-roasted. It'll get your attention, without causing your face to crease from excess bitterness.My wife and I strongly recommend Mucaro Coffees, for the flavor and great value, and for the opportunity to patronize a small business that is doing things the right way.
