The food is good. It's at the Wyndham hotel on the 6th floor, a modern bar across the street from MIA. Come here for the views of the sunset and sit outside on the balcony . Watch the planes fly in and out. The happy hour food is good but the menu has very few items. The fish dip is tiny but good as are the croquettes. The night we came they had no draft beer. The kitchen is slow.

The service was fine, our waiter was attentive, kept our drinks full. The food was flavorful and wasn’t terrible but was not as stated. They charge $40 for a filet. It was absolutely not filet, it was sirloin and a tough one at that. My husband and FIL ordered rare ribeye steaks, they were medium. The mushroom risotto was undercooked but was seasoned well. The desserts and drinks were the best part of the meal. Having drinks on the balcony was great. They do add gratuity automatically. Overall not terrible but fairly disingenuous.

Our server, Azucena has been serving us throughout our stay here at the hotel. She is super sweet and such a hard worker. The food is so yummy and the atmosphere overall is very welcoming. Definitely would stay here again.

Amazing place for dinner - the service was on point and the view is great to watch the planes come in.

Good thing my jaw muscles are so strong, because the next-level chewiness of the fried calamari is certainly not for the innocent. You ask why I would even be seen at a Miami airport hotel lounge when I am a local? Perhaps a story best told on another day.

The food is delicious, the cocktails and the attention. The place inside is beautiful, I highly recommend

Had dinner there before dropping off relative at the airport. Restaurant is on 6th floor of hotel. Food was good, service amateurish and they tacked on the gratuities on our bill (for a party of 3?!!!). Decor is bland . Nothing special, but conveniently located.

Nice place to have a bite. The best thing about it is the staff especially Adriana and Alejandro - very positive and cool ?

I usually don't go for hotel restaurants but let me tell you, you've got to give this one a try! The sweeping views of the Miami Airport from this rooftop bar/restaurant are stunning! The food was fresh and carefully prepared and the drinks were absolutely delicious! Staff were courteous and helpful! Tips are appreciated, BUT keep in mind Miami includes a mark up for gratuities on your bill.

After a long day of driving and needing to catch a flight early in the morning, I was looking for a quick bite! This place did not disappoint! It is located inside of the Wyndham hotel on the 6th floor. The decor was cool! Modern and fit the airplane theme. I was greeted right away and asked where I wanted to sit. The bartender and waitress were very friendly and I truly felt like I was being taken care of from start to finish! The food: the nonalcoholic mojito was delish and very refreshing! I love that it still looked so pretty even without the alcohol! The chicken wings were tender but I didn't really care to the Buffalo sauce or the ranch. The ranch was a bit too sweet for my liking. The salad was large, had great flavor and wasn't soggy! I would recommend this to any traveler that just doesn't want to leave the hotel. I would also recommend this to anyone staying close by! Beautiful views and great vibes!

I forgot his name but they guy with green eyes ( his background is puertorican) he was very nice and communicative with us, told us about the good areas around and food, he made us a margarita which was very delicious and the food was awesome, will definitely come back for more drinks and food

Terrible customer service. I was barely acknowledged when I walked in to place a to go order. They kept just walking right past me. Then, I had to wait about 30 minutes just for a chicken sandwich to come out. Don’t recommend.

The Pilot House is a staple anytime I’m in Miami. They have a great happy hour from 4-7 Monday to Friday with reasonably priced drinks and appetizers. Their regular menu is varied and the food is good. The pricing is a bit weird…some things are incredibly reasonable and some things are “Miami priced” at $$$ or so. There is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the check but normally the wait staff deserves more since they are always very warm and attentive. We normally always go in a large group and we can get loud, but they’ve always been kind and quick with drinks and food. The draft beer selection is limited but they make a pretty good mojito! I really enjoy the onion soup and the salmon is perfectly cooked. The carbonara is a bit too oily and cheesy but the noodles and shrimp were tasty. The views are really nice and the aviation theme is perfect for the location. They also have outdoor seating for those cool fall nights. Overall, I recommend a visit, and will continue to go myself, especially during happy hour!
