Hate leaving bad reviews but they have the worst customer service. They are barely there or pick up the phone or answer emails. Took more than a week to provide a quote for a simple cake. I am still waiting for it. Save yourselves and go with another place

It makes me really sad to write this review. I used to work at Ali’s from 2013 - 2015 and it was THE BEST! I know the original owners sold it. Ever since, I’ve gone back a few times hoping to love it again but it’s not the same. The quality of the sweet treats have gone down a lot. Also, when I passed by I couldn’t even tell if the store was open. Once I opened it, there were no lights on, It was extremely dirty, all the chairs were put away and I stood there hoping I would get someone to help me. Also, there were barely any items on display and the cupcakes were not fresh. (I know this, I used to work there) It’s so sad to see a place that was so taken care of not treating the same anymore.

As a local it was very nice to find a vegan sweets store. I had tried cupcakes I enjoyed, little marshmallow chocolates and loved them. So why not order for my big 25th birthday cake? The service: I began this over a month in advance. As requested on their website, I completed a questionnaire about what I wanted and sent it. Waited but no response so I called- they said it wasn't received so I did it again and once again it didn't work. So we exchanged details and what I wanted. After exchanging calls back and forth it was communicated clearly what I expected (details below). I paid about 2 weeks in advance, they said they sent an invoice via email earlier however after combing through each day of that month and the previous- it was not there. No problem because I went in person. I received the cake. The requests: chocolate and vanilla & with a specific blue cat from a videogame (reference included at bottom (Rosie from animal crossing)) fishing on a waterfall. The inside is clearly not chocolate. No one could tell what it tasted like- 2 people who were late were given no context and we asked what flavor they thought it was. BOTH said pumpkin. So this was clearly not a chocolate OR vanilla cake as requested. Visually it speaks for itself. For over $230 I expect this to at least look professional. I spoke to other bakeries who also agree that this is not the quality of what I paid for and that it looks "rushed ". This was ordered over a month in advance. To their credit they said it may not look exactly like the character. However this was.. an expectation clearly not met. I ate half a slice of my own 230 dollar birthday cake. Great marshmallow treats though. Happy holidays.

Searching on Google for a vegan candy store, I found this one to buy and satisfy the wishes and whims of a recently operated friend who craves sweets when she is stressed and I also like them because I share them with her. I liked the place. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Horrible cake. Horrible tasting!!! The decoration of the cake was beautiful but it tasted terrible. Don’t recommend $58 to the toilet. I would have rather bought a cake at Publix.

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. The cake was absolutely beautiful and the vegan cream was very tasty and had a very nice texture. The cake was the most disgusting thing I have ever had the displeasure to try. It has hard, dense, tasteless. It was hard even to cut it. It even had a very ugly pale color. I’ve had many vegan cakes in the past and I know it it possible to have a good and tasty vegan cake. No excuses fir this cake to be so off the charts bad. Sadly we had to throw it away.

I was very excited at finding that Ali’s could make me a cake that could meet all of my food allergy restrictions. And even more excited that they could make a vegan and gluten free cookies and cream cake! That cake was absolutely beautiful - aesthetically. The vegan buttercream was also very tasty, creamy and not oily. It was the best part. The cake itself was terrible. The cake was hard, dry, bread like, flavorless, and dense. I would recommend telling customer that a gluten free cake can’t be made when this is the quality that is being produced. It was inedible and a big disappointment. The worst part was that the cake was very over priced ($80) for its size and quality. I would of be absolutely fine with paying that price for a tasty birthday cake that met my food allergies but it was a complete waste of money. Overall very disappointing with my experience with this bakery. I would recommend shopping elsewhere if you have both a gluten and dairy allergy. I know that a tasty DF/GF cake is possible, as I have experienced it in other cities and countries. But it wasn’t the case here. They totally miss the mark. ?

I have an egg allergy and this bakery has satisfied my craving to the fullest! I haven’t had cake for over 2 years and the excitement and satisfaction I had after trying these cupcakes is beyond words.

So glad i found this little gem. I Ordered 2 birthday cakes, within 2 months, both strawberry champagne, and let me just say they where delicious. The young lady, Abby, that helped me through out the placing of the orders was awesome, very helpful and friendly. The bakery was very clean and felt very homie. The ambiance was nice and quiet. Will definitely order again.

I made a large order for my baby shower, and I was very happy with the results. I got several flavors and they did not disappoint. What I liked best was that the cupcakes were not overly sweet. The sweetness was just right, and they were super moist. It’s amazing that they’re vegan, you would never know. The kids loved them too. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.

We found this place by accident not in so glad we did. They have the best red velvet cupcakes I've ever had!

The sales girl was really nice and helpful. I ordered a 1/2 dozen mini cupcakes (total &12.86). After I got them home, we opened the box to eat them, we realized that they seemed to have had a few days on them. They were crumbly, dry, not very taste worthy.

Enjoy the brownies and the lady that was there gave great customer service. I went near closing time so they were out of many items.

Very disappointed. I don't know what happened, it used to be so good. I bought 6 mini cupcakes different flavors, the cake did not taste like anything and they put so much sugar on the frosting that it was like eating the same nasty cupcake over and over again.
