I had been wanting to return here for awhile. It did not disappoint. The entire staff is gracious, professional and personal. The menu offers a diversity of choices with a slight nod to the city's diversity and our dishes were all well-executed. I went at 6pm and the view and ocean breeze were just extraordinary. I would definitely return and soon.

My steak frites was yummy and the accompanying caesar salad was enjoyed by the whole table. What made it great (not good) was our server - he was attentive, helpful, quick, and just lovely and our hostess who sat us at an unforgettable table. Great day.

I thought the yucca puffs would be filled with cheese but they were just regular pão de queijo lol. Amara salad with grilled shrimp which was delicious but way too much pepper! Didn’t know that happy hour was only inside and at the bar. Oops. The views and service were the best though! Thank you so much Javier for your kindness 🙌🏻

It's a great place near the water, so it's a nice place to watch the sunset. The food selection is limited and pretty ordinary, don't expect anything special. I think we were just unlucky with the service, our waiter was tired and in a bad mood. But it didn't spoil the great atmosphere.

The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. But one confusing moment at valet set the tone from the beginning, which is unacceptable for a restaurant of this level. I would like the manager to pay attention to that. The man at the valet did not say hello, was rude from the beginning, and spoke with a complaint as if I owed him something. He announced the price of 10 dollars, which was written there, but a second later, he changed his mind and said that my car was large, and he would take 20; I agreed. Then, he personally escorted me to a place at the end of the street, where I had to wait for him to take my car. Then, the traffic patrol drove up and said that I violated traffic, and a fine was 120 dollars; while I was explaining to him, the man from the valet came back and started refusing his words that he was the one who told me to wait there; in general, the situation was unpleasant, just one word with an apology from the valet and a smile would be enough, but nothing was done to smooth situation.
I was excited to try Amara, and I will say that the food was good, and the ambiance was lovely. However, I was extremely disappointed when I received the bill.
I ordered an espresso martini and asked the server to make it with belvedere vodka. I was never informed that this simple request would result in a $48 charge for one cocktail. When I questioned the price, the server explained it was due to the choice of vodka. While I understand premium spirits come at a higher cost, $48 for a single drink is absolutely outrageous.
I've traveled to many countries and dined at high-end establishments, and I have never, ever paid $48 for a single cocktail. It's honestly absurd and feels like a complete rip-off.
And I just want to make it very clear, I'm not a tourist, I live in Miami and know what is expensive and this is just ridiculous.

Excellent spot - only loses points because the VALET parking staff were such insolent, disrespectful clods. We asked about Handicapped parking due to a member of our party with severe issues and were told to "Look on the street"
The place is nice but we came on a Saturday for dinner and there weren't many people, you don't even finish eating and they pick up everything around you and even your things too. The feeling it conveys is very bad, I will not return.
