We visited this place as a family on our vacation in Miami. Located 30 minutes from Miami Beach. good free parking. On foot, the walk will take 3 hours to see all the locations. you can rent a big bike for the whole family for $50. the park has poles from which you can turn on the water mist to cool down. you can feed the giraffes. overall a good place. When compared with the Zoo in Pattaya (Khao Kheow Open Zoo), then the Miami Zoo is 3/5 stars.
Can spend my whole day here. What an experience. So many species and well maintained place. Would suggest you click a picture of the map before you enter the place, so that you don't miss anything.
We prepaid for the park and the food option. I had the chicken Caesar salad wrap, and my wife had the hamburger. She said the hamburger tasted like a hamburger should taste.
