The only positive aspect is that you can rest on a couch, although it’s surrounded by a lot of people. The food is subpar, and the lounge is overly crowded, making it less comfortable overall.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is just ok but decent variety to choose from. The playlist is just awful in there tho which is my biggest complaint.

American Airlines sucks. Such a horrible excuse for a lounge. No food, rude staff.

The BEST place to spend your downtime in the airport, if you have it. The Admirals Club is a different world from the hustle and bustle of the airport. It is relaxing and so accommodating. CAUTION: You could miss your flight enjoying all the amenities the club has to offer.

I am impressed. The Admiral's Club transforms the run-of-the-mil baby airport services into a top-notch area that keeps its members staying. Speaking of staying, beyond the comfy chairs, they have a few soft loungers for sleeping. The restroom facilities also include hand lotion. In the event of extended stays, showers are also included. Light snacks are included, such as celery, apples, bananas, cookies, brownies, and several other items. There is also a well-stocked bar, with a skilled mixmaster, ready to please your taste buds with your requested adult beverage. I highly recommend this club for the active traveler.

Welcome to American Airlines' attempt at sanctuary – where the privileged-but-not-quite-private-jet crowd comes to escape the terminal thunderdome. The Admirals Club at MIA's Terminal D serves up that distinct flavor of corporate hospitality: just premium enough to justify the membership fee, just disappointing enough to remind you you're still at an airport.

The space reads like a LinkedIn influencer's vision of luxury: curved ceilings with mood lighting that whispers "we're not Spirit Airlines," and power outlets that have become more precious than the complimentary guacamole (yes, there's actually a guacamole station – Miami's answer to airport anxiety).

The amenities list reads like a four-star hotel with a three-star execution: showers for the optimistic, a full-service bar for the realistic, and high-speed WiFi for the workaholic. The kids' area exists in that perfect sweet spot – close enough to keep an eye on your children, far enough to pretend they're someone else's problem. Sadly, no kidnappings reported.

Conference rooms offer the illusion of productivity, while the "quiet areas" provide a master class in passive-aggressive sighing at phone-talkers. The tarmac views serve as both entertainment and a reminder of where you'd rather be.

Peak hours transform the club into an upscale game of musical chairs, with travelers performing the familiar dance of pretending not to notice the single empty seat while balancing their laptop, green juice, and dignity. The D30 location, bigger than its D15 sibling and attached to a Flagship Lounge, feels like the popular kid's lunch table – more space, same existential dread.

Health-wise, it's the usual airport roulette: hand sanitizer stations meet questionable surface cleaning in a game of immunological chance. Service quality swings between "resort concierge" and "overwhelmed barista" depending on time, day, and planetary alignment.

For the long-layover crowd, it's an oasis of slightly-better-than-terminal-seating where you can shower, snack, and silently judge other travelers' choice of lounge attire. Just remember: like any exclusive club, its true value lies not in what it offers, but in what it helps you avoid – in this case, the general terminal's unique blend of chaos and $24 airport sandwiches.

Think of it as Miami's version of a corporate living room: somehow both trying too hard and not quite hard enough, but hey – at least there's guacamole.

Nicer than most Admiral’s Clubs- feels fresh, bright, airy. Centurion still beats most on the actual food, but the constant wait times and only-sometimes-convenient locations are exhausting. Admiral’s Club is the winner when it comes to being welcoming, nice, comfortable, and easy.

Perhaps due to the hour (9am) and the number of flights, it was very crowded. Breakfast related food was good but somewhat limited in variety. Staff making frequent rounds cleaning up.

On my trip heading out decided to stop in and visit the admirals club. First time here so I purchased the entrance fee of $79. Biggest regret of my life, I really didn’t have much options, I like some in this world have a gluten intolerance that unfortunately doesn’t allow me to enjoy what others eat on a daily basis. To my surprise I only was able to grab a soda, a banana and guac w chips. My husband on the other had a lot of different options. Staff was not very accommodating and of no help. Sadly there are no refunds and was left feeling robbed of a great experience of cheap bottom shelf drinks. Also the AC was not working at 7pm on a Friday night, red flag should have been when I saw a fan at the entrance. Failed experience!

Dietary restrictions: Saw more vegetarian options, no gluten free options. What a disappointment and waste of money.

There are more tables filed with trash and dirty plates than there are people sitting at tables. I had to clean a table before I could sit down. The internet is circa 1996 and reminds me of being on AOL with dail up. Food offerings were meh. I had to use my phones hot spot to get any work done.

This is my second time here, first was on my way to Cancun about a month ago. The first time it was a short visit, and this time my layover was 4 hours. It’s unfortunate that one bad exchange can change how you feel about a place, but here we are. I am not sure what the bartender’s problem is today, but I was intentionally looked past twice to assist 2 patrons that came after me. Not sure if it was because my hair was braided this time, or if there is a deeper issue. I don’t want to make assumptions but I will say it was very rude and I didn’t appreciate being treated less than. I literally wrote “poor service “ on the receipt so the manager will know which bar tender is responsible for this. SMH.. we pay way too much for this kind of issue.
