This was hands down the best barbecue restaurant I’ve ever been to. The cornbread was perfect!! We ordered the platter of meat; the ribs were incredible, the pulled pork was top-notch and the pineapple pork stole the show.
The restaurant has a great theme, with unique décor and even cool, and super cool bathroom faucets.
I’m definitely coming back to try more!

I finally tried Apocalypse BBQ and it was unique and interesting! The brisket sandwich with fries was well done and tasty. The baked beans were awesome and the skull cornbread was cool and creative. Also their brisket empanada was great! With that said, the long wait sucked! I understand that Apocalypse BBQ has gone viral and everyone wants a piece of the “Apocalypse”, but I hope the lines start to become more streamlined and they cut waiting times by half. I do want to give props to their mocktails! I tried both their lavender spritz and the ginger peach spritz and both were amazing. The lines were apocalyptic and that’s why I give this place four stars.

The vibe at this place is just short of Amazing 🤩
Is a very special day for this restaurant customers are here in support of a town meeting requesting for the smokers to be able to stay on premises in order to keep serving the community.!!!

WOW, the drive to Kendall and the 30 min wait was 100% worth. I loved everything from my experience at Apocalypse.

The ambiance was cozy and kind of dark. I liked it.

I appreciate the fact the owner is literally going table by table engaging with customers and being appreciative of the business. Hands down!

It was a hot afternoon so I had to start with a drink. We had their atomic passion and the flamed guava. Both were well crafted but the flamed guava was the icing on the cake. Perfectly balanced for sweetness, acidity, smokiness and spiciness. It’s mouth watering, for sure.

For the appetizers, we had the skull-shaped corn bread, wings and empanadas. While the corn bread with hot honey on top was pretty fun, the wings and empanada were my favorite, specially the empanadas, the brisket empanada was one of the best empanadas I have ever had. The pulled pork and goat cheese was super delicious too but I think the meat was too compressed which made it a bit dry, but it had so much meat in, pretty good actually.

The coleslaw was refreshing and the perfect complement for the ribs which were juicy, coming off the bone nicely. The BBQ sauce was nicely balanced, the perfect level of sweetness, savory, smokiness. All in all great bbq ribs.

I wish they open a location closer to downtown, that will be a success for sure.

Meantime, I have an excuse to drive all the way to Kendal now.

The food was amazing, and the service was even better! Our waitress, Emily, was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind. She delivered a great service with a smile the entire time. Truly an exceptional dining experience—thank you so much Emily!

Overpriced and Overhipe

I have to say that this was a very expensive barbecue in which the portions are very minimal. To start off a single margarita is $17 and it taste like Kool-Aid. The barbecue was OK. The empanadas were very low in flavor taste. We shared three plates and the bill was $169 maybe Coral Gables, but not in Kendall.

We ordered the wings to go and the brisket and we loved the flavor, everything was perfect. The atmosphere is not like eating there, but the takeout experience was a very good one.

Our favorite BBQ in Miami, the wait is long but the food is great. Our brisket came out cold but the manager was very kind and brought us a new order with and extra piece and it was delicious.

This place is great! The food is delicious, we had ribs and a boss burger both were excellent! We had no wait time to be seated and that was great. Normally there is a wait but its always worth it. Ive come back multiple times hoping to see some white rice on the menu as a new side but crossing my fingers for new sides in the future. The staff food and ambiance is exceptional and Will be coming back again
