Honestly I don’t think this place is anything to write home about unfortunately. I had really high hopes! But it’s pretty average. Sandwiches are good, but not great. Located in the fascinating Wynwood street art area, Fireman Derek’s is the perfect break /rest stop from a neighborhood walk. Our family blissfully enjoyed assorted ice cream flavors and key lime pie. Both young women servers were lovely and helpful. Special thanks to Jada for her recommendations. Food was pretty good. I had the peanutbutter cheese cake. No issues. It was expensive-but expected. Service was fast and there was a steady stream of people but not a huge crowd. Probably go again if we go to miam.
