A Thai Gem in Miami: Asian Thai Kitchen is a Must-Try!
A true celebration of authentic Thai cuisine that will leave your taste buds dancing and your heart full. This unassuming yet extraordinary restaurant is a hidden gem that every food lover in Miami must experience. From the moment you taste their dishes, you’ll understand why this spot is a local favorite and a my favorite Asian and Thai destination worth raving about.
Under the passionate leadership of owner Koon Nila, Asian Thai Kitchen delivers an unparalleled dining experience that blends tradition, love, and creativity.
Koon’s dedication to showcasing the true essence of Thai flavors shines through in every dish, made with fresh ingredients and lots of love. The Thai cooks here pour their hearts into their craft, infusing each plate with the bold, harmonious balance of sweet, spicy, sour, and savory that defines authentic Thai cuisine. Their love for what they do is palpable, transforming every bite into a journey to the bustling street markets of Thailand.
The menu is a masterpiece of vibrant flavors. The Shrimp Pad Thai is a revelation, with perfectly chewy noodles, plump shrimp, and a tamarind sauce that strikes the ideal balance of tangy and sweet, elevated by a sprinkle of crushed peanuts. The Panang Curry is a creamy, spicy dream, bursting with aromatic kaffir lime and tender bell peppers, while the Tom Kar Gai (coconut milk soup) wraps you in a warm, fragrant embrace of lemongrass and galangal. For something truly indulgent, the ATK Crispy Duck—crisp-skinned, succulent, and paired with a sweet-tart tamarind sauce—is a showstopper that will leave you speechless. Even the simplest dishes, like the Miso Soup, are elevated with unexpected depth and flavor, proving the kitchen’s mastery.
What makes Asian Thai Kitchen truly stand out is its unbeatable value. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and exquisite flavors come at prices that feel like a steal—most entrees are under $16, making it an incredible bang for your buck.
Whether you’re savoring a solo meal or ordering for a group, the quality and quantity never disappoint. Speaking of groups, this restaurant (ATK) is a dream for special events, office lunches, or workplace gatherings. You can easily order from the comfort of your home or office via their seamless online companies like uber eats or call directly to arrange catering for events. Koon and her team go above and beyond to ensure every order is perfect, whether it’s a quick lunch break or a festive group celebration.

The atmosphere, though modest with just a small table and a small counter, exudes warmth thanks to Koon’s hospitality and the staff’s genuine care (it is best to order for pick up or delivery, the seating area is kind of a waiting area or for one to eat fast). The flavors are so authentic and explosive that you’ll find yourself planning your next visit or your next delivery order before you’ve even finished your meal. For delivery, the packaging is impeccable, ensuring your food arrives hot and fresh, ready to brighten any workday or gathering.

Asian Thai Kitchen is more than a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Thai cuisine, crafted by Koon Nila and her talented team of cooks who live for their art. This business has been operating for so many years for a reason! For authentic Thai flavors, unbeatable value, and a dining experience that will blow you away, this is the place for you. Call them, order online, or stop by—you won’t be disappointed. This is Miami’s Thai treasure, and it’s an absolute must-try ❤️

This is more of a locals spot. The food is average at best. It is cheap and fast though and the service is fine. I would only come here if you are having a thai craving emergency however, even then you could be disappointed.

Since covid, there is no dining room. There are 2 seats at a small counter where you can eat. Otherwise, it's all takeout. The food is very good, and it's kind of fun to basically eat next to the cooks who are preparing all of the food. Good value, especially the lunch specials.

This restaurant called me a couple times to tell me 2 dishes in my Uber eats order couldn’t accommodate my allergies and I said that was fine as long as the other 3 dishes could still be made. They said they could make the other 3 dishes fine. Then out of nowhere, they canceled my order without warning. No call to tell me they were cancelling, even though they called me twice prior to ask about my allergy restrictions. Horrible customer service. Very disappointed.

I paid $17 including the Tip and it was only meat fried rice in addition to being a very small portion. The girl who serves does it wrong. For $17 it is better to go to Salon Canton in Doral or Mochi Mochi in Brickell where the service, quantity and quality of the food is 100 times superior. To finish the place is extremely filthy. I bought there because I ordered by phone without knowing the site. THE ONLY POSITIVE THING IS THAT THE FLAVOR IS NOT BAD, EITHER THE BEST IN MIAMI. BELIEVE ME DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE

Hello, how are you doing!!
I don't usually write through this medium but the truth is that Miss Alexa's service gave me a lot of discomfort since I wanted to buy and when she spoke to me kindly she didn't do it!! I really don't understand why they have those kinds of people running a restaurant with very delicious food!!
I would like to go shopping again but not have her present since I don't like the way she serves!!
I hope you solve that please and thank you!!!

I have always bought there and everything is fine but two days ago I called and she spoke to me in a bad way and when I went to pick up my food her behavior was not appropriate and when I left she told me that if I came or called she would not help me . Really bad service and the girl's name is Alexa and she is Venezuelan. I hope they fix that please and thank you

Loved the Kimichi, we tried Crab Rangoon, Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, and for the jokes the Salchipapa! But everything was good, good prices and really tasty. The place is a small business, but it’s a hidden gem for the Asian food here in Miami.I did a pick up, as they don’t have for dine in. Parking is tough but I found one in the corner for free..
