I stop in this place once a week both for the butcher shop and hot food. Love their wagyu cuts and sausages, only place around that sells fresh boudin at certain times of the year. Can't go wrong with any of their menu items, favorites are burgers and Montreal smoked meat sandwich. Small place that can get busy so call in your food order ahead if you're in a rush.
My husband raves about their burger. Says it is one of the best. I tried their chicken sandwich today, but I was not impressed at all! Chicken was thick and dry. Even though bread was toasted, it was stiff and not warm. Seasoning tasted like cumin flavor. I was expecting charbroiled or grilled.
This unassuming little spot totally surprised me with an insanely good burger and a solid Cuban sandwich. My friend also raved about the pork banh mi, but the bacon croquetta was just okay. The flavors were absolutely worth coming back for.
The only downside? Our food took about 30 minutes, even though the place wasn’t packed.
I would definitely recommend ordering online ahead of time to skip the wait.
